Beautiful views. Wonderful staff. The lounge is a great place to enjoy a cocktail and stare out at the mountains.

The cost of a luxury, yes. The accommodations of a luxury hotel? No. Do not stay here, especially in summer. They do not offer air conditioning. They offered ice buckets to place in front of a stationary fan. At the cost of these rooms, air conditioning should not be an after thought. Most rooms are butted up next to other buildings, with no view. No privacy on your balcony, as you can hear everything going on around you. The parking lot was at least a quarter mile from our room. After hiking 14+ miles, the last thing we wanted to do was lug our bags through dusty crushed concrete and up stairs to a stagnant hot room. The area is beautiful; however, the accommodations here are stuffy and lack customer service. There was a line of people waiting with complaints and one man even said to me "Get out while you can! This is the worst property I've ever stayed at." We immediately checked out and found accommodations elsewhere, significantly cheaper and with air conditioning during the hottest days of summer.

We were evacuated due to wildfires. Hotel staff was NOT prepared nor trained for a situation like this even though the hotel is located in a high risk zone.

The lodge was top-notch. We left the morning of the fire, and were dismayed to later learn of the evacuation and fire. I’m confident Jasper and JPL will rebuild as good as ever.

The room was newly renovated and beautiful with an excellent view of the lake. The main lodge however did not have air conditioning. With temps in the 90’s we felt the lodge was not usable. We did not want to pay high prices for a meal while sitting in sweat. We feel a bit cheated as we would have liked to enjoy the full use of the property considering the high cost of the room. The Fairmont can afford air conditioning.

Five star rates and 2 star facilities. There was no AC in the room (no AC in majority of the rooms) and on inquiry, they asked "did you ask for a room with AC?". Since when do you have to check if there is AC in the room in a 5 star facility?
The dinner and service were both not good and they even charged for the food that was not served.
Overall, felt like money wasted and will not recommend.

First room we checked in to had a serious water leak but we were checked in anyways. Took over an hour to find us a new room. Hydro went out 3 times. Wildfires closed the resort and staff abandoned the front desk before informing guests or issuing refunds.

Overal very neat and clean property with friendly staffs, just do not purchase the planetarium ture. It is completely waste of money.

This hotel has dated suites with VERY small bathrooms. We arrived during a heat wave not knowing that the hotel doesn’t have AC either in its suites or in the main lodge. We decided to check out after one night since the suite had dismal air circulation and remained hot all night.

Excellent, if overpriced, property that works great for three seasons of the year. However, it is unacceptable for a five-star hotel to have no air conditioning in the summer months. Our room was unbearably hot, as were some of the common areas of the hotel. We were also disappointed that a very hefty resort fee did not include free use of canoes, bikes, paddle boards, etc. If resorts in Mexico can figure this out, why can’t Fairmont? We felt gouged at every turn, including meals.

We loved the resort. There is so much to do and the service was impeccable. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the AC was out. Will definately staff here again.

Staff and location are amazing however it’s a crapshoot if you get a cabin with air conditioning ( it was 33c when we stayed). Constant room and resort power outages made it a very poor experience. The pricing of the rooms reflect a top tier hotel experience and this wasn’t it and the cost of food and beverages were extortionate. I was getting hit with daily visa charges instead of settling the bill at the end of the stay, I’m still not confident I will be double charged. I’ll probably never go back.

There was no air in most of the rooms… at 800$ a night, this was disturbing. We were compensated with complementary breakfast daily which was DELICIOUS, and 100$ CA a day for whatever.
The restaurants were quite expensive, but good. You do need reservations.
This lodge was in a great location for many hikes!
