Thank you to Jordan and the amazing staff at Bongos!

The elevators didn’t work and we had to use the only one employee elevator which was hot and smelly at times. One of the waitresses at the Bongos beach bar was rude and racist. The elevator that went up to Spinners was hot and smelly. The windows were beyond dirty. The whole resort needs an upgrade. I’m not planning on going back.

One elevator was out of order and other elevator took forever and was very small. Room seemed dated and old. Bathroom was remodeled but hallways were dated and old looking.

An excellent place for a relaxing vacation in the sun! The room was not crowded with 2 king beds in, and very well maintained by the cleaning staff. The rotating restaurant at 11th floor is one of the area's attractions - a bit pricy but you get what you're paying for! You can also enjoy a quiet sunset on the rooftop lounge, or head down to the beachside restaurant for live music.
Only one negative - nowhere in the online description or hotel website is indicated that only 1 cabana and 2 beach chairs are included per room, even if you have more than 2 registered guests per room. Having to pay for the extra chair was an unpleasant surprise.

Great location. Grocery, pharmacy and restaurants all walkable. I stay in the area several times a year. Often staying at a condo with relatives. I do make regular recommendations to others and have stayed at several hotels. While most of the staff were great, the receptionist upon check in was professional but very abrupt and not friendly. (A non customer facing roll) We arrived early after a cruise and asked if it was possible to check in early. Apparently we could do so for $75. I have stayed at other properties in the area and have never been charged. (Tradewinds,Sirata, dolphin and others) Upon check in we also were told there were no rooms that were not adjoining to another room. This is something I would have liked to know ahead of time as I would not have booked. Adjoining rooms are too noisy for us. Further we should have been offered a free upgrade due to being an Expedia VIP booking.

Excellent customer service and cleanliness. Cabana /beach service great very accommodating. Beach staff is wonderful. Elevator was not working seems to be the case often at this hotel. Guests have too use service elevator with no air and no inspection posted- Felt very unsafe as elevator stopped oddly in non-consecutive floors. For an ocean front room housekeeping was only rendered once for a five day stay-Had to throw out my own trash several times as waste baskets in room were not emptied. When rainstorms are on the horizon staff needs to act proactively quickly and remove umbrellas as they were flying in the air and customers can get hurt and can be a liability for hotel. Saw staff had ample time to act proactively and didn’t.

The hotel has great potential, but it is not in good shape right now. I reas the reviews and all mentioned the elevator not working and, surprise!, still broken when we arrived. The service elevator had long lines and it would require a good 30 minutes to use. We had to use the stair, with no AC, not clean, to carry luggage, food, anything. The pool closed without warning also and we were sent to the hotel next door. Not the most comfortable and relaxing trip we had planned. Staff was great at the hotel. They tried to deal with the issues the best they could.

We checked in and then were told that the hotel's 4 elevators were out of service. I asked to immediately cancel the check-in and they didn't accept. Expedia was warned but they didn't solve anything either. Damage for not using the stay in a hotel that should be closed. Expedia couldn't sell a hotel in these conditions.

The beach and roof terrace/bar are amazing with the best views of the ocean and sunset. Friendly staff, easy check in and accessible parking. They need to work a little with the room cleanness and maintenance, my room -411- had some water intrusion coming from beneath the floor (but not a big deal). But overall rooms and good size and beds are comfy. The Bongos grille at the beach is very good and well-priced. The beach umbrellas or cabanas with chairs included is a plus-plus. Definitively will be coming back.

Loved everytng about the property except the brunch on the rooftop. It was over priced and not worth the money at all. The staff was great and the food was ok, just not worth the money. On the flipside. Bongos was a perfect place for drinks and snacks and the coffee shop in the lobby was great!

Great hotel, and the rooms are renovated and have great views. Recommend for a luxurious beach trip.

There is 2 elevators in this hotel and the Staff could only keep 1 of them in working order throught the entire labor day weekend. The late night valet was extremely rude to my girlfriend when getting back from our night out in telling us we couldnt park in the same spot we had been parked for 2 nights. The beach access/cabanas were very nice but the overall price of everything was extremely overpriced. Spinners restaurant on top floor was very good and priced well for what you receive - the rotating views.

This hotel was so amazing! Having the different restaurants each providing a different vibe and setting made things so convenient. We were so pleased with your room and the staff was incredibly Nice

Nice beach location. Not very centrally located so renting a car would have been helpful to avoid racking Uber charges up. Room was clean and loved that it’s a short walk to the beach and a cabana is included. Drinks and food are over priced for the quality of them. 90 dollars for 4 Pina coladas is a bit absurd to me. Also make sure to have snacks in the room because everything classes by 10 food wise. So late night snacking is a fail. Staff was very accommodating. I would stay again just would rent a car, get snacks and avoid the drink prices.

Excellent location to the beach and Gulf Blvd. Central to many places to visit. A very pleasant stay worth every moment.

The elevators weren’t working so everyone had to use the service elevator or stairs but it wasn’t terrible. The hotel was great. The rooftop bar was awesome with the DJ. Bongo’s restaurant on the beach is really cool and the food was delicious. We enjoyed room service for dinner when there was a brief rain shower. The beach in front of the Bellwether is amazing! Staff was friendly and the room was really comfortable. Will definitely return and hope the elevators are working by then.

The elevator didnt work so we had to use the room service elevator what took ages. But the rest of the resort is top!!!! Unbelievable beach and the best beach bar on St. Pete' beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are great. The best Hotel on St. Pete's beach so far 10 out of 10

The hotel is decent, the beach is beautiful. The beach bar has decent food and good cocktails. The hotel seems a bit in disrepair, their elevators were down leaving a full hotel only with a smelly and just not kept up service elevator to use for guests and team members trying to manage. Front staff at night wasn’t very friendly. The last 2 times I’ve stayed here it was nice, however, after this stay, I am not sure I want to return.

Surprisingly, I really liked the hotel. The unfortunate experience of having their elevators broken is what brought my rating down. I understand things may be broken, but the hotel shouldv'e compensated in other ways. Waiting 20 minutes for a service elevator while the maintence men rode up and down is unacceptable. And yes, we did speak to the front desk (manager wasn't available).
