My boyfriend and I enjoyed 3 nights here during Día De Los Muertos. I’ll start with the good stuff:
1. Amazing location right next to the zocalo (of course, It’s in the name)
2. Super trendy hotel
3. Daniel and Antonio were very helpful and very kind during our stay
4. Cafe offers complimentary snacks and beverages. So nice!
Cons:
1. Our room wasn’t cleaned the 3 days during our stay. We did leave the room from 10a-4p for activities and it wasn’t cleaned all 3 days.
2. Face painting was offered to embrace the holiday, which was great. However, we were informed via a note under the door the day before without instructions to sign up. The next day we asked but the appointments were already booked up. We didn’t know we needed to book an appointment. Lack of communication.
3. We weren’t informed that we needed to reserve to watch the parade from the restaurant. We booked this hotel specifically and called the front desk to ask about watching the parade from the balcony but was not told to reserve anything. Again, lack of communication.
4. The concierge was absolutely no help with reservations, booking tickets or making reservations. No follow up on reservations or questions that were pending.
Overall, we rated high because of the few staff who were helpful and kind, and the location. We understand it was a holiday weekend which is challenging, but should be prepared for. We were disappointed by the lack of communication and lack of help from most of the staff

We had to leave very, very early in the morning. They had our large suitcase already to go and our driver was waiting. Everything went smooth! Also the coffee we were able to get before we left was delicious.

Best location, super clean and quiet, all City main historical places are at walking distance. Food is delicious and it’s view to the Zocalo and surrounding historical buildings is the best

We loved this hotel. Beautiful property. Very comfortable bed. Staff and service outstanding. Fabulous included breakfast served at the roof top restaurant. And a cafe downstairs open 24 /7 where all drinks and food are free!!! Hard to top this place in my opinion.

That everything was walking distance from Zócalo, rooms and overall hotel is very nice, very good service, but they need to work better on the food, it was not tasty..

The hotel is clean, the service and staff are good. The location is closed to traffic so difficult for Uber/taxis to access. A lot of police around but feels unsafe. The view from the restaurant is beautiful.
