Had surgery at Mt Sinai Hospital..Needed a reasonably priced place to stay with available transportation service to and from the city.

Can I please give this hotel a six star rating? From the moment I checked in until I walked out the door to leave, this hotel blew me away! The staff were unbelievably great! It was like I had gone through a time warp and I found myself in an era where hotels welcomed their patrons and made them feel at home. This hotel is affordable, clean, comfortable and surprisingly friendly! A short walk to the bus stop where you can go straight to port authority in Manhattan. The hotel's shuttle will take you to and from the train station and the shuttle driver is a pleasure to talk to. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this hotel. It may not be a luxury hotel however the staff's attitude toward this traveler was a unforgettable luxury. Thank you Meadowlands Plaza for a truly wonderful experience!

The best thing about this hotel is the restaurant. It's a high quality food and beverage location that only people in the know are aware of. Excellent service, and great food. The hotel provided breakfast in the morning is very good as well.

service was rude and unhelpful. will never return. we were here for a birthday, and they made the experience very unpleasant. Called in advance about early check in, due to a long drive. Was told they are happy to accommodate us. When we checked in though it was a different story and the people were very rude. The room was not the room i paid for, it’s “what they had available since i booked through a third party”.

Hotel is located between east and west lanes of Rt 3 so there is constant white noise. Only issue we had was we could smell cigarette smoke in room although it was a non-smoking floor.

My stay was overall good. We were there for the Giants game and loved the fact that we had a shuttle to and from the stadium. Beds were comfy, breakfast was free, what more could you ask for.

Check-in was slower than it needed to be, and breakfast vouchers weren't handed out without individual id (a difficulty for my wife whose bad back made it hard to get out of the car for that "formality." At breakfast the bananas had a sign warning NOT to take one out (apparently bananas are pricey items that people are trying to steal all the time), Comfortable place, but petty rules!

Very clean and good location if going to nyc or the Meadowlands. Odd that they call in the morning before check out time and tell you that you have to check out by 11. It was only 10:30. Breakfast was free so no complaining but not enough healthy options.

Stayed here so that we could attend the Bills/Jets game, which was on Monday Night Football. We were allowed to check in 30 minutes early, and our room was perfect. It was clean, quiet, and nicely furnished. The shuttle drivers were incredible. We took the shuttle to a dropoff location about 5 minutes away from MetLife Stadium. The driver was crystal clear in pointing out exactly where we needed to be to catch the shuttle back to the hotel after the game. Fast forward to the post-game craziness. The hotel ran *both* shuttles back and forth multiple times to ensure that all guests got back to the hotel quickly and safely. The traffic was insane, but our driver navigated it skillfully. This morning, we headed down to the restaurant for the surprisingly good breakfast buffet (with great coffee, too). Finally, we asked if the shuttle could take us to the Secaucus NJ Transit station. The answer was "Of course!" and the driver got us there quickly, and we were able to catch an earlier train than we expected. This was the perfect place to stay to attend the game. The staff gets it about extending hospitality and good service to sports fans. We had a very pleasant stay and would book the Meadowlands Plaza Hotel again.

We came for a Giants game. And drove over 4 hours. We arrived early not sure if we would be able to check in early. We were told our room was available. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. The last time we stayed there was no hot water on the shower. So that was the first thing we checked. We had hot water! The check on staff was incredibly helpful and polite. Having a shuttle to and from the stadium/mall is a huge plus. Granted it is not easy to get a seat on the first run even though you call in advance, but it is as seats are available. It definitely beats a $79 Uber! This was not our first stay and definitely will not be our last. One trip a year to MetLife stadium and we will always stay here if rooms are available.
