There is only only one thing that I didn't find to be acceptable: I am an early-riser and have a cup of coffee when I'm at home each morning while I go through my emails, etc. (not a caffeine freak--just love the warm cup each morning). I made coffee in my hotel room each morning before the dining room opened, and enjoyed sitting on my balcony watching the workers very meticulously clean the pool and grounds area. When the coffee pods/sugar packets ran out, the maid said she couldn't give me any more because they only re-stock them every nine days. I was tryng to understand her Spanish, so she may have meant every 7 days. They also didn't supply creamer, powdered or otherwise. I didn't use any of the in-room alcohol, so I was a "cheap date". I had only one cup of coffee a day, so I didn't use the packets exessively...just one a day. For the price I paid to stay there, I would think they would keep the coffee supplied. I am sure there were other visitors who never touched the in-room coffee, so I know they weren't in short supply.

Great experience overall, very kind staff at buffet and Italian restaurant. However there were some issues that disappointed us:
1. We have booked a room with Ocean view. However when checked in, a room with no view was asigned to us. We complained about it, they moved us to another room next day, however brought us lot of trouble as we needed to spend one night in one room and then move, which means unpack and then pack all of our stuff again. Besides all of that, we needed to left room at noon and new room would only be available at 4pm. I definitely dont agree with this policy, as it was not our mistake.
2. Cleaning on second room wasnt very good, we found hairs in the bathroom sink, which didnt give us a good impression.
3. There was a courtain on the shower part, but it seems just to be a temporary solutions as there was partial glass there.
4. We have faced a terrible experience at the Steak House, two different hostess were very rude to us because we didnt know how it worked. Lots of tables available, however they insisted only keeping half of it occupied. For me it doesnt make any sense and even if it does, I really believe there's a polible way to say it.
The woman hostess at Sep. 18th even asked me: dont me speak spanish? When I sai "a litlle bit" she said: that's why you're not understanding how it works.
First of all I didnt know that speaking spanish was mandatory to be there. Very unpolite and made a terrible experience for us.

For the price we paid, is not worth the food, the service. We couldn’t t attend any restaurant because they said it was fully booked, but there were so many tables available and it was huge place.. RIU NEEDS to upgrade if they will continue to charge like this .

This was our 2nd RIU property, we got married then celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary at RIU Palace Cabo San Lucas. This property was beautiful and well maintained. The employees were so friendly and accommodating. We loved the palapas on the beach. The beach area was gorgeous, nice sandy beach and ocean floor. The only thing we would suggest to improve is the temperature of the food at the buffet. It would be nice to have options other than the buffet for lunch but one of the restaurants was closed for lunch during our stay. Aruba is so safe and very beautiful. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We liked the size of the property and the ease of getting around where restaurants, bars and the front desk was accessible.
What we didn’t like was the nightly entertainment being so loud we could hear it from our 5th floor room. Our friends were on the 8th floor and they could hear it as well.

We had a great time at RIU Palace, and our room was terrific with a fabulous view of the pool and ocean. We were in the main building top floor, room 1008, and it was just like the picture. We only ate at one specialty restaurant because the buffet was great and faster. Adults have access to both hotels which was nice to go to the adult side for a change of pace. We would definitely go back again.

From the moment we checked in we encountered nothing but issues. Upon arrival and checking in to our room we arrived to find that the room assigned to us was dirty and unmade. We had to return to the front desk with all our bags and given a different room. The safe in our newly given room was broken so we were unable to lock up any of our valuables in the room. On our second day there we went on an all day off resort excursion. When we returned to the room we found that housekeeping had moved, opened, and went through our luggage/bags that were left in our room. We discovered that they had stolen $400 cash that was hidden in our bags. The manager at the front desk had me write up a report and said there was nothing he could do but I could call the police and file a report with them as well. On the third night of our trip after returning from a late dinner our room keys would not work to enter the room so we had to wait 1 hour for maintenance to come and reprogram our door to accept our keys. On the 5th day, yet again our room keys would not open our door so once again had to return to the front desk to receive new room keys and have maintenance once again come open our door. The only bright spot was the wait staff and bar staff in the restaurants/bars were very nice, accommodating and always smiling. We will definitely not be returning for another trip nor would we ever recommend this resort to anyone.

The service is top notch, staff at RIU are friendly and attentive. The room was super clean and spacious (got a former junior suite). Food is an A , you have variety for all picky eaters. I only ate at Don Nicolas (buffet) and another buffet restaurant closer to the beach, but saw the other ones and they looked amazing too!. The pool is huge, lots of drinks at the swim up bar! I’ve got to say, I never visited a place they keep so clean (wake up super early to clean and even mop around the pool) entertainment is ongoing and super fun, they really know how to party the island way, lots of shows for the younger crowd too. FOR THE BEACH CHAIRS- make sure you get up at 5:30-6am if you want a tiki-hut chair! They go super fast and are on a first come first serve basis. This place is amazing and the beach is unbeatable, definitely worth it and coming back for sure!

The upkeep of this properly is notibly bellow our statards not to mentioned service wSas bellow any measurement, the most disappointment was with Jetblue knowing my wife and I sat 2 windows away, when I make the effort and spoke to cabin crew, I expected they will get seating next to each other with at least 3 rows of empty seats, but they brought me a signed birthday card by the crew! wha a joke!! when when they have sat my wife and I together for a start of a good vacation!!
Shame and poor disposition by your staff specially Jetblue.
