Thee hotel was excellent and the rooms were nice. I understand not including breakfast but I found it odd that to use pool or other facilities needed to be paid extra.

This place is okay. Very big and very popular with coach tours. About six to eight show up every night. Breakfast is busy and chaotic. Towels were quite worn. Tiny room with a view of a wall.
It is about 10 to 15minutes walk from Sakae station, Exit 12. Good for one night but not more I would suggest.

A tumble weed of what seems to be dog hair was in the bathroom floor. throughout the room this hair persisted. Sticky paper should be used to collect this rogue hairs, they are gross to encounter.

A pleasant hotel on a main blvd (but little to no street noise). Plenty of local shopping and food stores nearby. A major shopping district is just 3 blocks away.
Cant say enough about the friendly and helpful staff at all levels.
Other reviews comment on the age of property other than the AC, it was well maintained and clean, no mars or damages.
The room was well appointed and supplied.
The only downside was the static AC , no adjustments, but if the cuetains stay closed thw temperature is adequate.

Hotel staff were perfect but I did not like the chair in the room. The printing service was so pricey (100 JPY per sheet…) and the pool and gym were also too expensive

I liked:
The remarkable support from the hotel reception managers and the Concierge. They were exceptional in attending to all our requests. Room was very clean - spotless clean.
I very much disliked:
The catering managers did not do their jobs by asking the staff to ensure used trays are removed from tables instead of walking around aimlessly. Drinking glasses were filthy and smelly. They get these 4-5 busses to spend the nigh in the hotel and the passengers of these bussers attack the restaurant. It was a very unpleasant experience and well below what you expect from a Japanese restaurant!

Hotel feels cold and dated. It does what it needs to do, but really lacks a personal touch. Ok for a one night stay, but could really do with updating.

Very nice hotel with an exceptional staff. Hotel was easy walking distance to the nearest train station. Great breakfast buffet. There were two other breakfast options onsite that I did not try, but both looked good.

Very nice hotel, and staff was excellent. We will definitely stay here again, if we visit Nagoya. Just one comment: The pool is a lap pool, and there is a fee to use it. It's a very nice pool, but just wanted to warn others who might book this hotel, specifically for pool use.

First off, upon my check-in, the front desk agent didn’t let me know whether the free room upgrade was available. When I realized I had that perks, I had to physically come down and ask another agent about it.
Secondly, I was upset by the amenities prepared such as coffee and teas. They are all small packets of instant ones which are of the quality of love hotel or something.
Lastly, although this property shows that the gym and swimming pool are available but, as a matter of fact, they will charged you the facility fee of $30 per day if you wish to use them.
Only from 6am to 8am, customers are allowed to use the facility for fee.
This is ridiculous. I have been traveling all over the world and this the first time ever being requested to pay for such facilities.
I will definitely not returning to this hotel again.

Hotel situated conveniently and rooms very large for Japanese standards. Very clean too, however there is no free access to facilities such as gym and pool. Kids under 18 years old also cannot use the pool which should be mentioned in their introduction.

One of best hotels I've had ever stayed in... Staff was superb.... I wish I had this level of service in the states.

I booked a room for 1 adult and 1 child, but they asked for an additional fee because they said only 1 adult could use it. I was shocked because they charged me an additional fee for something completely different from what I had booked. I paid the fee, but I never want to come here again.
