This place was fantastic and treated me and my girlfriend and her son and her babysitter amazingly well in three rooms that were close together and they treated us kindly and had fantastic room service and there is shopping and a medical center right next door and convenient parking and a road that connects everything in the city right in front. I will go there again and I enjoyed everyone that I met

Their people does count, the hotel infrastructure needs maintenance.
I travel to other countries in the Americas and Europe, so pricewise, the hotel should offer more services, like for instance a safe box.

First experience was not great. Arriving 3pm the room was not ready, seemed clean. Extra bed was broken and extra bed mattress was terrible. 2nd stay was much better.

The bed is very bouncy and the sheets dont even have elastic to stay in place. AC also stopped working on the last day. And several times the room key also stopped working.

I liked the location, the attention of the people very friendly. The delicious and plentiful breakfast. My only problem is that the wifi signal was very intermittent and that made my job difficult during the week.

Great staff, price was reasonable for the quality.
Location is for business rather than tourism, that said taxi/ubers are cheap to use (recommended for evening meals)
This not alot of options in Porto Alegre (Sheraton has poor reviews so I didnt bother) so this is fine to stay in.

The room was just ok, however the Internet and the tv were not working well. I informed that several time and no change. Other colleagues staying at the Sam and hotel had the same problem. Internet was not usable at all.

Had a conference here. The hotel and confrerence rooms are OK, but not great. We were somewhat dissapointed that the hotel is really far from the "Centro" (downtown) and that one must use taxis to go anywhere - restaurant, sightseeing, etc. A typical one-way cab fare is 12-25 reals depending on where you go. But you have to find out where to go - it is much better to be where things are so you can walk around and e.g. pick a restaurant rather than having to look at reviews online (btw. the internet in the hotel is attrociously slow) and then take a cab there.
