Bed was hard as a rock dogs barking all night long and Japanese beetles in the room

The front desk staff could not have been nicer. Very sweet. The lawn and property a bit unkempt. The room was very clean but housekeeping forget to empty the previous guests food from the refrigerator. Perfect set up for bringing dogs.

I was surprised that they got a new elevator even though they are still working the kinks out of it, we had a pleasant stay.

Easy access from US 55, room was clean, daily room cleaned, friendly/helpful staff. We would have been more pleased if they had a third pillow and had more than free coffee. Otherwise, we feel that we had a good stay.

Nothing fancy. Served it's purpose. Was EXTREMELY PISSED BY HOUSEKEEPING KNOCKING ON MY DOOR AT 8:49AM!!!! AND WHEN I DIDN'T ANSWER RIGHT AWAY, BECAUSE I WAS ASLEEP, THEY STARTED TO OPEN THE DOOR!!!! I was so angry over the lack of communication between management and housekeeping.....

I understand the old adage, you get what you pay for, but this was one of the worst stays I've experiences. The pool area was closed and the pool covered. It was clearly not set up for use for awhile.
Everything was stained. The sheets, pillow cases, towels, and walls. The made beds had hair and debris on them. The towels were tiny and thread bare. There were bugs, hair, and debris on the shower. There was almost no water pressure probably because the shower connection was spraying everywhere.
The mattresses were hard and uncomfortable. The pillows and blankets were thin. Even the floors, which are laminate were dirty. Both the room and bathroom floors were slippery. And bathtub has absolutely no slip resistance. It felt very unsafe.
The front desk woman was polite and helpful.
Overall, I should have paid $10 and stayed anywhere else. 👎

The property was ideally located for our needs. It was a bit noisy late at night (after 11:00pm) as well as the early morning (6:00am). The room was clean.
