Unfortunately, the hotel is drastically decreasing its quality. Rest is becoming difficult, noises from the other rooms are intense, probably due to the wooden floor or the lack of isolation, you can hear children running above, voices and screams from the sides of rooms, it's difficult to rest. Its focus seems to be becoming more family-oriented and that makes it complex for those of us who work remotely. Of course, it is still very nice and well decorated, and the front desk staff is always lovely, but the kitchen, at least the breakfast is disappointing, with oily fried eggs. The location is safe and very convenient highways are close by.

Pros: the restaurant is REALLY good. The hotel is beautiful.
Cons: 20 minute uber ride to anything touristy, which isn't a big deal.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Bidasoa! Had to take off a star because the heating in our rooms didn’t work. The engineer came and he was great, but he couldn’t do anything about it. He said the rooms (we had 2) were at the end of the heating circuit so the heat just wasn’t reaching us. They resolved by finding two plug-in electric portable heaters for us which did the job. Food is amazing with lots of yummy vegan options. Really happy to stay there.

We very much enjoyed our stay. I asked for a room with a view of the mountains and the hotel absolutely delivered. It was incredible to wake up to see snowcapped Andes from our window. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and I especially point out Sebastian and Isabela in the breakfast room, who went out of their way to help people. This is not say others didn’t, they just were extraordinary. When we needed help getting Ubers, the front desk provided assistance to make sure that the driver knew exactly where to go to pick us up. The day we arrived was a cold, rainy day, and I was looking for where to eat. To my surprise and delight, I found out that the best place to eat in the area was at the hotel. These were reviews, not from people who stayed at the hotel, but other people who would die at the hotel. It also has an incredible vegan and vegetarian menu option. The price was very reasonable and the breakfast above and beyond with made to order eggs. We enjoyed our stay.

We were visiting Santiago for the week for business and decided to give Bidasoa a try. I have been to Santiago a few times and never stayed here. I feel I made a big mistake never staying here because it was the best hotel I stayed in, in the Vitacura area, possibly, the whole city!!!
From the check in to check out, the staff was courteous, friendly, warm, and accommodating.
The hotel, as a whole, was beautiful and strangely smelled of fresh grapefruit throughout, which was super amazing.
First of all, the main floor is beautiful, the bar, restaurant, pool are in and lobby all flow together perfectly. It almost feels like one complete space.
The bar and restaurant spaces were beautifully appointed and even the small details of the outlets beneath the tables were great.
The food and drink were on par with the space. The bartenders were always on point with their Pisco Sours and their other cocktails
The restaurant is great, from breakfast to dinner.
The rooms were great! Huge windows, with a long padded bench with pillows were a great touch. The king-sized bed was super comfy, with a good choice of pillows on the bed. The bathroom was nice with a good sized shower. I note about the shower, it is a nice touch that the head base is on a really tall pole and good for some of us that are a bit taller. One side note, if you are travelling from a region that doesn't use the 2-or 3-pronged plugs, bring a couple of converters. It will save you from walking to the mall

Stayed at the Bidasoa for one night which just happened to coincide with the first night of curfew imposed by the Chilean government during the current period of civil unrest. The staff could not have been more helpful even though they themselves had to be home for the curfew and so the restaurant had to shut early. The staff were all friendly and helpful during this difficult and stressful situation.

The hotel was well designed, clean, and very comfortable. It's in a safe neighborhood. I was staying for business and found the amenities and wifi connection to be very good. I was there for a whole week so got tired of the dinner menu, however there are many options within a short uber ride.

Beautiful hotel in an upscale area of town. The rooms and decor are all very stylish, and the staff were incredibly friendly and nice. The courtyard and restaurant provided a nice quiet place to relax after a day in the city - excellent breakfast. The location is not the most central and takes 20-30 min to get downtown, but on the flip side, it is very quiet. Also recommend Quinoa restaurant around the corner for a healthy lunch.

Room was very sparse and need updating. Main floor common area is very nice with a great breakfast. Hotel is located in a residential area.
