Room was ok, some mould on the bathroom grout. Paint on the floors. Ordered a pizza to the room for my daughter at 20:30, was said it would arrive for 9pm. Contacted reception after 9:20 to be told no order was made but the payment was taken. Was transferred to room service and they said they are having issues and would send one up. After 10.15 my partner went down to reception to find none was made or ordered. No apologises, and gave him a free Tin of coke 😂. Would not recommend again because the attitude of the staff were not friendly
Their morning breakfast was ok, over booked and struggled to get seated.
A bit out of the way from the city centre compared to what was said in the description.

Very noisy all night, reception staff weren't very friendly on check in or check out. Did not use the bar or restaurant but breaskfast was poor. Will not return.

The hotel was clean and the room was spotless and spacious. Where this hotel falls down is the lift only goes to the 5th floor for some reason! We then had to get out of the lift, walk down a long corridor and walk up a flight of stairs to access our room. Made very little sense and may be an issue from an accessability point of view.

All staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was nice and spacious but quite warm. Biggest issue was the noise at night, lots of kids running around and noise from other rooms was ridiculous. I underatand its a big hotel and some guests just don't have respect for others. Overall it was a lovely hotel with lots of choice for breakfast.

As stated above, I don’t mind staying here on a regular basis for work, but the pricing varies greatly from booking to booking, now to rub salt into the wounds they have started charging to use their own car park?

We asked for a quiet room upon check-in which couldn't have been further from reality. Walls were paper thin and not helped by the fact that the rooms were interconnecting so we could hear every single thing in the next room and the corridor.
I didn't understand why we needed a keycard to access the elevators and rooms but anybody could use the nain stairs from the lobby to enter corridors without any security measures.
The noise the next morning was even worse with maintenance work being done outside our room door from early morning. Drilling, loud talking etc. The final straw was when somebody entered our room even though there was a 'do not disturb' sign on the door. We had requested late checkout until 12pm but left straight after that incident.
On the plus side, breakfast was good and a special shout out to Sharon who was friendly and helpful.
I definitely would not stay here again. Didn't feel safe and not suitable for a relaxing break with the constant noise all of the time.

I chose the Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley as the purpose of my stay was a relaxing getaway, in which I was seeking services such as a pool, hot tub, sauna and gym. These were all services which were clearly advertised on the hotel’s website and here on Hotels.com. I had checked the leisure centre’s opening hours on the hotel’s website prior to heading to the hotel, which clearly stated that it would be open until 8pm on the day that we were there. However, upon arrival at the leisure centre’s reception at 6:45pm we were informed that the leisure centre would be closing at 7pm and therefore we could not access the services. When we asked what time it would reopen at in the morning we were informed that it would be closed for the next two days due to renovations. This meant that for the entirety of our stay we could not access any of the features which were advertised to us and which we had paid for. All we had access to was our room, which I could have gotten for about €100 cheaper in a hostel.
I have sent the Clayton Liffey Valley two emails complaining about this issue. Both of which were ignored. I am thoroughly dissatisfied with my experience and would not recommend this hotel to anyone, unless you’re prepared to be disappointed.

Room was spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location excellent. Dinner in the restaurant was really good and cost reasonable by Dublin standards. Other eating options available in the area. Car park available. Will stay here again

So overpriced - no breakfast in extortionate rate and a wee bonus of having to pay more to park.
Rubbisg, food wasted and wet towels lying in entrance hall of suits for my first 2 nights there, took a complaing to the management to get it moved who by the way, could not have cared less.
Bar staff excellent, reception on arrival piss poor.
Would I stay there again, only if there was no other hotel available in the Northern Hemisphere.

I booked my room last week and when arrived, they didn't have rooms. They told me that they would send me to another hotel and they pay the taxi. After arriving, the hotel was closed and I had to pay the taxi. I haven't had any other worse experience ever. No hotel room was given to me and i had to sleep on the street

We had a lovely stay. We spent 3 nights there, then traveled around for a few days, the came back for 3 more nights. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very good, and a very nice lady named Sharon was super friendly and helpful every morning. The front desk staff was very helpful, calling taxis for us every day.

Property was clean, staff was friendly. What I didn’t like was that there was NO A/C in the room, there was only 2 choices for vending machines, limited choices. Bus transportation was good, quick commute to city was available. Wifi works well. If coming to Dublin again, I would probably stay closer to the city, because when trying to meet tour timetables, transportation to the city becomes expensive with taxi fees becoming expensive.

It was very warm in the room uncomfortably so. The provided fan did not provide enough cooling for four people. The shower, bathroom and beds were all clean

Its was not par with other 4-star hotels. Room does not have AC and we've to open the window but there was lot of traffic noise.
They also charge 10 euro for overnight parking. You already pay high for hotel and parking on top.
Not close to City center but got good stores around.

The hotel rooms arent spectacular but your bed are nice and clean and the staff got on with their job and help you as much as they can. Its situated right next to the newly purpose shopping mall and easy access to the motorway.

The stay was pleasant. As there was an event in Dublin on the day of arrival it was very busy and loud. Luckily we had a room on the second floor so was quieter. There was an issue at check in, we were given the wrong category of room but this was quickly resolved. Our room had not been cleaned throughout our stay including making the bed and replacing cups.
The spa and swimming facilities are brilliant! The hotel was conveniently located if you have a car, otherwise its far from city. They charge for car parking which is unexpected for property located on outskirts of city.

Very loud hotel. Doors slamming didn’t enjoy my staff. One man was helpful - the hotel staff. Other woman was unbothered
