The “fabulous” rating is well-deserved. The property is in a prime location, in a historical building, the room I stayed in was beautiful (I was upgraded), with preserved beams and stones from the original building, the linens were of good quality, the bathroom seemed newly done and well-built, the lighting, layout and decor of the room were well-designed. The room overlooked the Sorbonne, and the windows could be opened. The Wednesday afternoon concierge who checked me in greeted me warmly and was on point and amazing in all respects, and the staff I came across were all very nice. The Thursday concierge who checked me out was the only negative experience. I highly recommend.

First of all, I must say that after paying nearly USD $800 for a three-night stay, I was quite disappointed when I opened the door to the room.
The room was very clean, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job tidying up every day. However, the space was so small that there was barely any room to open a suitcase. If one person needed to use the bathroom, the other would have to squeeze to the side or leave the room entirely.
That said, I have to commend the staff for being incredibly friendly, which is definitely a highlight of this hotel.

The room is small but charming. The shower room is open to the bedroom so be sure you stay with someone who is comfortable with it.

My husband and I were in Paris for 4 days for a winter vacation. First, Laurent and Maria Teresa at the front desk were amazingly friendly and helpful. The entire staff were. The rooms were perfectly clean and the way they are set up is very clever. Felt more like a high end condo than a hotel room. We loved it. The location of the hotel is far enough from a main street to be quiet but close enough to easily access anything we needed, including a supermarket called monoprix that has a whole basement grocery area. There are numerous train stations within a 10 minute walk, including one for the RER train that goes directly to Versailles. And the river is only a 10 minute walk away. The decor of the hotel is fresh and cool. Has all of the extras that go into a high end hotel. Paris is a great city to explore and coming “home” to this hotel was a real pleasure. Some rooms face the square, which would be lovely, but ours faced an equally beautiful building, on a side street that was nice and wide so that we got plenty of blue sky and sun light. It was great to be able to open the windows. Breakfast was just right for us and we ate there every morning (eggs bacon fruit pastries, etc). But there are restaurants all over the area. The hotel is in the Latin Quarter, but so close to St. Germain that you get the best of both worlds. Everything about this hotel was top notch but without being snooty, if you know what I mean. We will definitely return!

The hotel has made great efforts for the rooms to be functional and comfortable in a limited space. So long as you are not big people the hotel is great but may be challenging for the larger guest.
The public areas are beautiful with an art installation and high quality fittings and comfortable furniture.
Only downside was some damp wood in the bathroom which made the room smell a little mouldy.
Staff were really friendly and helpful and the rooms spotless

Room was spacious enough for a family of 3 (with toddler). The area around the hotel is quite safe at night, and the hotel is located close to a lot of things you may want to do during your stay. Especially if you want to shop.

The hotel is in a great location convenient for dining and shopping. The decor is semi modern and the beds were comfortable. The concierge team was wonderful, particularly Maria Teresa and David. The bathrooms in the rooms were the only disappointing feature as they filled with condensation when you showered and there was someone else’s hair on the shower floor as well as possible mold in some of the tile cracks.

An excellent spot for anyone looking to visit Paris and smart enough to want to stay in the Latin Quarter. Easy access to the metro stations along with a quiet, yet access social scene of cafes, shops, etc.
The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful!

I'm OK with small rooms in Europe, but this one was particularly tight. The right side of the bed to the windows was about 18 inches, and the toilet was essentially in a closet separate from the main bathroom.
Also, the room had a quirky lighting system where either all the lights were on, or off (you couldn't choose which ones to turn on or off).
The a/c was strong (yay!) but it blew right on you if you were sitting at the desk working.
Nonetheless, the location was excellent, the breakfast was good, the staff was nice, and the room was very quiet.

Great location. Friendly staff. Cute hotel with comfortable beds. We arrived on an early international flight and had two exhausted little kids. They let us check in very early which made our day a million times better.
