My family and I stayed for 5 days at the residence (not at the hotel). The duplex apartment had seen better days and was not very clean but it was functional with a large balcony. Ker Juliet is a bit away from downtown Pornichet but next to a beautiful beach and walkway along a cliff. There are also a few stores nearby (bakery, boucherie, grocery store). The biggest inconvenience is that there is no WiFi in the residence apartments and one has to come down to the reception or restaurant to get signal. Another issue is that you have to clean up the kitchen and gather all the bed sheets and towels before leaving, The supply they give you to clean up is terrible (cheap sponge and cleaning product) making the process longer than it needs to be. Overall, I’d give it 3.5/5.

The property is in a beautiful setting but it’s past it’s prime and needs to be refreshed. No wifi in rooms. Old fixtures. Pool is nice but the deck needs to be refreshed. It feels like the property is past its expiry date.
Front staff hot and cold.

Kerr Juliette is in a great location, close to excellent beaches and in the quiet, up-market St Marguerite area of Pornichet with lical shops and restaurants within walking distance. The accommodation had everything we needed, ideal for older children but the stairs within the duplex would be a hazard with small children or elderly family members. The grounds are well tended, we had mixed service/communication from reception staff. The pool is mostly used by families with younger children, too busy if you just want a swim, and there aren't enough loungers with parasols.

I stayed in the hotel with my toddler daughter for a long weekend. I was very happy with the service at the hotel - the staff at reception spoke reasonable English and were very friendly and helpful. The room was ok quality and clean - nothing special but good for 3star. The hotel pool was very nice and enjoyed by both me and toddler. I particularly liked that one end was 80cm deep and other was 3m deep - excellent for both adults and kids! The surrounding areas are lovely - weather on foot or in car! The coast line is gorgeous and well maintained and you are very near to lots of picturesque villages. Playground very near too!

very good choice for families - very near a lovely beach. Think of it as a self catering apartment, not a hotel. Away from the centre of Ponichet in a residential area but this is not a problem if you have a car.

We stayed just three days, the room was fine, with a balcony that faced the pathway to the pool. It doesn't feel like a hotel though, as it is on a site with with several large holiday appartment blocks and the bar and restaurant are in a separate block to the hotel rooms. Work was underway renovating the conference rooms and on our last day we saw why as the hotel was swamped with a banking conference, out of place somewhat with a beach hotel. Position is good though, very near to a great beach and the pool is larger than many. Not the most friendly of staff and very little hotel info provided either in the room or on reception. Breakfast was overpriced as was dinner, one got the impression this was to put people off eating in, we saw very few people in the restaurant at any time.

le site internet ne laissait pas présager un si beau cadre. La chambre est spacieuse et confortable, le site de l'hotel magnifique, le prix canon, j'y retournerai de suite si j'étais disponible.

We stayed at The Hotel Ker Juliette at Pornichet in the second week of September. It's a really nice place......in a village (Sainte Marguerite) a few KM from the main resort and secluded amongst pine trees 800 metres from the sea itself and a neighbouring nice beach. We had a disabled room for my (wheelchair) wife. The rooms are smallish but have nice balconies. Bathroom was fully disabled compliant. And there was a ramp down to swimming pool terrace. Swimming pool was kept very clean but does not have disabled access itself...ie has a ladder for entry rather than accessible steps. Breakfast (12 Euros) was absolutely excellent. We dined 'in' one night and food was good but nothing special. The restaurant goes into 'sleep' mode out of season ie September onwards, as with many places in France, and depends rather on whether there were any conferences booked in (as there were). If food service had been full-on I might have awarded another star for Hotel overall quality/value in the price range. Hotel also usefully has washer/driers available to guests; and has apartments for weekly rent also, with one disabled unit available in each separate block. There is also a children's play area. And conference facilities/seminar rooms. All in all a very happy experience and noticeably courteous/helpful staff.

During our stay, the hotel was hosting a corporate four day event. The restaurant staff asked us to take our breakfast in our room as they were so busy with the corporate guests. We also ate there on our 1st evening - there were only two other tables in and the staff were slow, inattentive, forgot some of our order - meals were not good value - one was almost cold.Other problem we had was with the noise from the corporate guests' rowdy late night parties outside of restaurant, yards from our window. These went on for three nights of our stay. When we complained after the first party night, the hotel staff asked the restaurant staff to deal with it but the following night's party was even more rowdy. Again we complained but a further noisy episode ensued the third night by which time we had decided to shut our window and put up with the intense build up of heat in the room in order to lessen the noise. As the first company (Bosch) was packing everything up to leave the following day, we noticed a fleet of 2CV6 cars in the car park and wondered whether this was another corporate event about to start. There seems to be a problem with what this hotel is offering. They are obviously attracting corporate events while trying to cater for private holiday guests. However, they do not seem to be able to cope with both. The integration of corporate events and family holidays requires very skilled management and such management was not at all evident in this hotel.

Quiet location, 5 mins to a beautiful beach, nice accommodation. We did book a larger apartment than needed for the 4 of us and it was definately the right thing to do. The smaller apartments have very little storage or space and the bunkbed area is very small. The pool was fab and well looked after, always clean. Restaurant was good, catered for the children well.
