The property is a bit worn out, and the options for dining at night are severely limited.

The property location is great - steps from the beautiful beach. The staff's friendliness and willingness to help were outstanding. However, the property itself leaves a lot to be desired. I had to move to three different rooms in order to find one that was passable. Nonfunctioning toilet in one room, bugs and no toilet seat in another. Single tap with no hot water, shower has small hot water heater that did not turn on, water pressure so low that the shower had a large bucket to fill with water and a small one-armed scoop to dip and pur the water over yourself.
This property has "Resort" in its name but does not have any amenities that would be consistent with that. You get a room and that's it.
Certainly at under $30 at night it is not realistic to expect a fancy place. But regardless of cost, I do expect the bare minimum such as hot water, working toilets, and the ability to take a proper shower.
Expedia should require all hotel listings to meet basic standards and to post a warning if it does not. Perhaps this hotel is geared to local standards, but it needs to say that.
The staff was great, but there's really nothing they can do to deal with the significant shortcomings of this property.

Convenient access to the beach. I didn't like that I had to ask for toilet paper and trash can for the room/bathroom. Water is weak at the second floor that there is a bucket and dipper to use for shower.

Very friendly service. Very convenient as it is only less than a minute walk to the beach.

Stayed from Feb 23-25 2020. 4 Adults and 3 month old :). I spoke with Froilan regarding our early arrival at the Partas terminal in Pagudpud and they were nice enough to allow us an early check in (10AM). Jenny was very welcoming, helpful and patient on arranging our tour, breakfast requests, needs etc (we had a lot of questions and requests). The resort was a few steps away the beach!

I'm sorry to say that there wasn't much to like, if anything at all. There were stains on the bedsheets, ants perpetually crawling up and down the walls, the staff were hardly ever around to address problems, there was noise from construction, no bath towels when we arrived (given the next day after asking for them), and the staff and i went back and forth for 3 hours trying to get the right wifi password. One of the reasons we chose this place was because they advertise access to a kitchen so we can cook meals and save some money, but the filthy state of the kitchen made us second guess our plans, but we stuck it out and used the charcoal bbq that they have. I don't believe that we'll be coming back.

This was our first hotel in our Northern Luzon trip. The building was an extension of the hotel so the exterior finish was still rough. There was no attendant when we got to the hotel at night and we had to wait for somebody to open the rooms. The bathroom in one room was not good. Water flow was weak; the shower was not working so we had to use the one in the other room. Toiletries were not enough for all of us. The saving grace was the beach.
I made a mistake of writing a similar review for Hotel de Veneto in Vigan. I was trying to contact you to make the correction but I couldn't correct it online. Will somebody email me so I can write my review of Hotel de Veneto in Vigan? We had a very good rating for that hotel.

The staff was very friendly. There is no Wi-Fi so if you want to be off the grid this is the place to be. The free breakfast was nice and the sea view is great. The place is not 3 star but for the price it's good. There is several restaurants you can choose. The food is good. The young man that looks over the place is very helpful and nice.
