I loved the architecture of the property with local colonial features, the very friendly service staff and very high quality service.

Staff is friendly and Juan was a consummate host, server, bartender- always made the experience welcoming. Breakfast was made to order on a pretty terrace overlooking the city and its mountains. A 10-15 min walk on uneven sidewalk, across the river. Check out the Monasterie Recolata - so peaceful in morning - cloisters/historical library/view from bell tower

We felt like we had a home in Arequipa at Tambo. The historic site right in our backyard was a special treat. The service was excellent and indeed heartfelt. We are returning again for our last night in Arequipa and would love to return.

Excellent stay at Arequipa in this hotel. Super close to the main square. The folks at the reception were fabulous. They provided great suggestions to restaurants, called taxi, provided all helpful information for us, packed breakfast at 2:45 AM (really).

My main complaint is the bed was as hard as wooden board. I called the hotel prior booking and was informed that the beds are soft. Avoid if you prefer soft bed. Also, you can’t open windows and there is no HVAC. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful historic hotel

The hotel was fine and staff were very helpful. But overall, the property wasn't as nice as it seemed online and there was a strong cleaning products smell in the room our entire stay. The location was close enough to the main plaza, but wasn't on a very charming street.

The hotel was gorgeous and the staff were awesome and so sweet especially Maria Fay. Breakfast was lovely and the location was good. Note that there is no temperature control in the room and no screens on the windows so if you want to cool down you will let mosquitos in. A plug in fan would have been great to help with the heat.

Everything about my stay was amazing! The room was clean, spacious and warm which I prefer. The bathroom was also a great size, awesome water pressure and hot water. The staff were so friendly and helpful, went above and beyond for every question/request. Literally nothing I could say that is negative about this hotel other than I wish I could have stayed there longer

We liked this lovely hotel in a colonial building. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was yummy. The only comment we can make which is not so positive is that there was a bit of street noise in our room. Highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay in this small , cozy, and boutique hotel. The staff were great! They were very helpful and ensured our stay was comfortable. The room was clean and very well maintained. The location is 10-15 mins walk from the main square so worked out as a great base spot. The only suggestion I would have is to improve the soundproofing in room.
