Great family getaway close to Windhoek. House was nice and huge. Great activities for our young family of 5. Adults loved the food, but not a lot of kid friendly meals.

my husband and i stayed at naankuse lodge for 3 nights at the tail end of our trip that spanned south africa, botswana, zambia and zimbabwe. we wanted a couple days to just relax after a 3 week group safari tour that was constantly on the go. we are glad we came to naankuse as it was a slower pace, allowing us to sleep in, do 2 excursions a day, and walk the property at our leisure without being on a true schedule. it also allowed us to just sit on the porch and relax, talk, taking in nature. we stayed in one of the huts that was within walking distance to the main lodge. it was fine for a couple, was clean, had a private porch but probably not for a family or traveling with another couple because it has an open shower, meaning the shower is not enclosed, its smack in the middle of the room. otherwise - would recommend. the guides for our excursions had alot of experience and knowledge, and were great to talk to.

Extraordinary property on a reserve devoted to rehabilitation of carnivores that have been in circumstances that endangered them or were a threat to farmers. They have excellent opportunities for guests to learn about the history and nature of these animals and a behind the scenes tour showing the training and use of dogs to combat poachers. The rooms and facilities are very comfortable and dining in the lodge was very good.

Absolutely incredible spot. Amazing staff and really comfortable accommodations. The gravel road is really well maintained and can easily be traversed in small cars.

We loved our stay at Naankuse Lodge (Family unit with 4 bedrooms). The property had everything we needed. We booked half board, all the meals were lovely. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. We definitely recommend it.

An amazing place. Wonderful rooms, stunning wildlife and attentive staff. (Also a friendly warthog!)
I highly recommend the cheetah walk, baboon walk and carnivore feeding. Amazing!
Would visit again in an instant.

Lovely place, that is very accommodating. It is lovely to see the various animals that the sanctuary has rescued.

We had a lovely stay but I think it is pricey and overrated. The service was good, food was excellent and accommodation was great.
