I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Dawliz Art & Spa in Rabat, Morocco, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the elegant design and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. The artful decor throughout the property adds a unique and sophisticated touch that sets it apart from other hotels.
The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort and style. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail, from the luxurious bedding to the well-appointed amenities that made my stay incredibly comfortable.
One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional spa. The treatments were truly rejuvenating, and the staff were professional and attentive, ensuring a relaxing and indulgent experience. The spa facilities, including the sauna and hammam, were top-notch and contributed to a sense of complete relaxation.
Dining at the hotel's restaurant was another delightful experience. The cuisine was exquisite, offering a wonderful selection of local and international dishes that were both delicious and beautifully presented. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, with a wide variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day.
The hotel's location is also ideal, offering easy access to Rabat's main attractions while providing a peaceful retreat from the bustling city. The views from the hotel, especially those overlooking the Bouregreg River, are simply stunning.

I would like to give this hotel a better rating but the few problem areas limit the rating.
1. The restaurant is good for breakfast, but the other meals are trying to be a higher end French menu than they can pull off.
2. The biggest problem was that my air conditioning didn't work and if on it blew hot air. I asked them to address it and they said that was the normal operation and temperature be 26.5C. My friend's room, had too good of AC and it took a bit to get his room above 16C as it blew cold all the time. Basically it was a huge problem and they just ignored my request for them to address it. I did get a fan which helped. (which as first I was told they had none...)
The housekeeping staff was great.
The view is great.
The bar staff are great.

The location is great and close to all historic sites. The pool and outdoor area is beautiful. However, this is not a 5 star hotel. The staff is very disorganized, there is no one to help with luggage and the reception is less than acceptable.
The rooms are just ok - The bathroom is fine, but the water runs outside the shower onto the floor. The walls do not look completely finished and rooms are not updated.

Facilities are excellent along with the garden and patios overlooking the river. Restaurant has a large and varied breakfast buffet and fine dining for dinner.
The staff however was simply incredible! 40 years of travel and I’ve never come across such an hospitable staff!

Considering the fact they call themselves VIP hotel, it does not look like it. Breakfast buffet is poor. Water in the room (only 2 bottles of 1/2 liter a day!!!!). Hotel location is great as it is close to the city and other designation. Staff is friendly.

My second time staying at this nice hotel. Staff were excellent except for the man who is in charge of the bar. I think he serves and care only about certain people that tip him good. I was gonna tip him good also but he is very disrespectful.
Otherwise very nice hotel.

The exterior grounds of the hotel are beautiful; the interior grounds, particularly the rooms, are outdated and filthy. Filthy carpets, filthy accessories, rock hard bed, outdated etc. The rooms smelled of mustiness and/or sewer. When we arrived, the AC was clearly not working. Instead of being honest, the hotel kept making excuses stating it was being serviced and should be on in ten minutes. This did not occur. The manager apologized in the AM and offered us use of the pool and a free future room, but we won’t be back. This is definitely not a five stars hotel, more like a two star motel.

a very nice hotel. staff are happy to help and there is a nice view. the fitness center is super small and the main piece was broken so I could not train properly..
the breakfast is OK but not more than that.
a bit far from the Rabat center and therefore the taxis are a bit more expensive

I’m disappointed. After staying in the Medina we were ready for a very comfortable hotel. For a five stars, it was anything but. The elegance of the lobby and pool area did not match the the rooms. The service was definitely not 5 stars. When we first checked in we were not greeted, the woman quickly collected in our passports and then proceeded to tell us about all of the spa services they offered as an upsell. No information about how to log into the Wi-Fi and what time breakfast was served or anything else.
The room had a nice view but the king size bed was just two twin beds push together. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable and the sheets were coming apart and thin. The bathroom could’ve had another cleaning. There was one bathrobe for two people. Basic television channels
Breakfast started at 7:30 am we had to leave early but the staff was not ready at 7:30. The staff seemed annoyed we were up so early as they were not prepared. The staff did not offer of tea or coffee, we had to ask. Breakfast was average.
I don’t think this hotel should be five stars and for the price I think they’re much better deals that you can find in the area. Entire staff can use a retraining of service

It was OK. Food was fairly good, hotel was of a reasonable standard. I think for the price and location it’s about right.

Ok. Hotel is nice but male employees not to worried about giving you much attention. Hard to get a cab because it is in a different area than cabs can go. Must understand transportation system to get there. Spa was great but they tried to say that menu was wrong. Wanted to give us 45 min instead of 60 minutes for same price. Breakfast OK. Very clean, nice rooms.

Nice hotel with spacious rooms (particularly for higher tier rooms), a good pool area, good breakfast selection, and friendly and helpful staff... FYI it's on Salé side of town so transport can be an issue as Salé (cream) taxis can't cross to Rabat main city and likewise for (blue) Rabat taxis = have to use private taxis or hotel cars etc
