We visited Fes for two nights in April and found these accommodations more than adequate for our family weekend holiday. The desk, cleaning, and service staff were exceptional. The riad is beautiful and the decor charming, though it is a bit dark with an enclosed courtyard outside the rooms. The "pool" is actually more like a fountain in the main courtyard and it was empty during our April stay. The traditional Moroccan breakfast was delicious. The location is within five minutes of a main gate and parking; a big plus in a city like Fes.

The riad is stunning - it felt more like a homestay than a hotel in ways and we were a bit far out but you still get great value for your money - the room we stayed in (Yasmine) was very spacious and split over 2 floors - not very polished but loads of character to the place. Its a big mish mash of antiques and traditional moroccan home decor. If I visit fez again I would stay closer to the Bab Baljoud area as the riad is in a bit more of a local area - some people might love this but it can be hard to find your way back in the dark and a bit quiet. The main courtyard is a bit dark and damp with no natural light coming but there is a small pretty outside area with a feature pool. The staff were so attentive and the breakfast was great! :)
