The gardens around this property make it such a lovely place to spend time. On clear nights you can really see the stars here, but it's still walkable into the heart of the town.

It was a great central location to visit sites in the Sacred Valley. The breakfast had lots of variety and everything was really clean. It was a sanctuary in the middle of the business of touring the area. I would highly recommend it.

Very nice hotel! Room was large and bath was very nice. Restaurant was good at dinner as well as the complementary breakfast. Had a little problem with credit card processing but all was resolved at end of visit. Would recommend this location to anyone planning to visit Machu Picchu as a good stopping off point closer to the site than Cusco.

The hotel is in great condition, and the gardens are over the top. It looks like the employ an army of gardeners to keep the grounds pristine (and the sheep lawnmowers were a nice touch). Truly a quiet little sanctuary, which is nice after the gauntlet of tourists and hawkers in Cuzco or AguasCalientes. The property is gated, so you feel very secure, but it is somewhat removed from the town. Cab drivers from out of town will have a difficult time finding it - bring a google map. The free internet in the lobby was somewhat intermittent. Don't expect luxury beds; I've slept on plywood that is more forgiving. Then again, after an exhausting day of hiking, you won't notice. FYI, as you will find in most of Peru - even the international airport, you are advised not to flush toilet paper down the toilet, and instead use the waste basket. The biggest complaint has to be the breakfast. It might be included in the price, but you're not getting much. Skip the coffee and go for the tea. Actually, unless they replace a gardener or two with a chef or cook (or just a better menu), you should just bring breakfast food with you. The dinner was decent, though nothing to write home about. Overall the staff was friendly, and offered help with dinner suggestions and calling for cabs. If I had to do it again, I might consider staying in Ollanta.

Internet available in lobby only, & desk clerk had to be asked to reset the router multiple times. Bar stock is weak at best. Using sheep as lawn mowers was a nice touch!
