Very nice property and our second stay here.

Quaint facility nice and private. One thing was unusual is I was contacted by staff person Skip asking if I knew how Venetian blind was unable to be opened. We never tried to open it during our stay. I was asked if a child was jumping on the bed near blind. There were 3 adults in our party and my 90 year old mother in law slept on that bed.
Otherwise we enjoyed Carrabelle and our stay.

There was no breakfast even if this was indicated!

It was like being in a creepy movie which was perfect for me. Check in instructions were in the mail box outside the front door. Not a single person was in sight during my entire stay. That was nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The old hotel was cute and the owners had obviously spent a lot of time making it nice. My stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I would book the hotel again.

Very unique. Could have supplied glasses for drinks and ceramic cups for coffee

It was unique, a little too cluttered for my liking, which makes it seem not as clean. The bed was comfortable. It was self check in, so we never saw anyone, which wasn’t all bad. The process was easy.

Very nice quiet 2 story historic house converted into a hotel. Very clean. Within walking distance to several restaurants. One of the nicest hotel experiences my wife and I have had.

My wife and I usually stay at Hampton Inn across USA, because it’s a known business model with properties having comfortable rooms with great free breakfast. This boutique property, The Old Carrabelle Hotel, measures upto that standard of cleanliness. On top of it, the rooms are cozy, but a bit small though. The bathrooms are actually big and the shower was a delight. More importantly, we could flip a switch and make coffee and tea in the hallway, and relax in a long beautiful front balcony that extends pretty much around the house. That sure beats any Hampton Inn property. This property is several decades old and it’s a big task to maintain it to function that well. Our compliments to the owners. Breakfast was coupon based, and we could order anything we wanted, discounted to $7 each, in a two minute walkable pastry and sandwich shop. We could go anytime of the day with the coupons !
To be fair to Hampton Inn properties, we did miss the beautiful lounges and front end hallways they have. But why not enjoy a little piece of heaven by giving those things up?

Property needs minor repairs and paint. Heat was basically on all night, we had to open windows because it was so hot in the room.

The room was great very cute and the bathroom is huge. I stayed in the Magnolia room. As someone who enjoys history this is a great place to stay. Very close to everything. The owners are very helpful as well. Also very clean.

No elevator but interesting history of Carabelle upstairs of the wooden stairways & downstairs. Note was given @main entrance. No one was at the front desk to welcome or departure. It may be due to COV-19. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay for 1 nite.

Great little historic hotel in a quaint little town within walking distance to the famous “World’s Smallest Police Station”.
Booked the smallest room though hotels.com and, because their calendars aren’t sync’ed it happened the room was occupied but, even though the owner was out of town, he worked it out with us over the phone and got us into the largest room at a discount! Skip was a fantastic host and I’m sorry we didn’t get to meet. The property was very clean and comfortable and had fun relics decorating the property and we would definitely stay here if we ever find ourselves in Carabelle again.
The Captain’s Quarters is actually the bedroom and bathroom and end of the hallway blocked off with room divider screen. It’s all very private though since it’s at the end of the hall.
The only real issue we had was thinking the water heater wasn’t working because it took so long for it to heat up. And even then it never got too far past what I would call warm. Other than that, the one bed was kinda squeaky but we didn’t use that one. And I guess if you’re a light sleeper, which I am not, the sound of the occasional car/truck that drives by could be a problem because it was kinda loud and people seem to treat the road like a speedway. 99.9% of the time it was nice and quiet, even with the other rooms being occupied.
The breakfast voucher was a nice perk. Spent it at the super-cool little Carabelle Junction right down the road. Good food, nice owner, great place.

Very tastefully decorated and comfortable!
The owner was there 1 of the days and never introduced himself to us. Very disappointed he didn't seem to want to introduce himself. Just seemed a little rude.

Comfortable stay. The room was clean. There was a shared small refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. The BnB style hotel provided breakfast vouchers to several restaurants in Carrabelle which were very good.

I arrived in the early afternoon. I’m so glad I did because I got to enjoy the house and porch. Thank you for a wonderful place to relax and sleep!

We only had the room for 1 night (thankfully!). The atmosphere was nice. The room was just that, a room with personal bathroom. There was a refrigerator at the top of the stairs with coffee pot but no amenities in the room. My biggest complaint was the bed was hard and lumpy and so were the pillows. But the breakfast voucher we used at KK’s All American Canteen got us a very delicious meal! The town was absolutely delightful! Just stay some place else!

Wonderful place to stay. It’s like an old family home. I love the convenience of the location and it was extremely quite. Breakfast was a card that you receive at checkin (in your envelope) you could use at several local restaurants. We chose K & K’s and it was delicious and the staff there were so friendly and attentive. Great little town.
