Spacious room, comfortable bed, nice breakfast. Very basic accommodation. Absolutely decent for the price. And location is nice, in the medina but not with entrace to a busy street, so quiet at night.

A mixed review. We had to book two rooms as we are engaged but not married. We paid for two, but only used one. Apparently their culture and Norms. No mention of this on hotels.com website.
The hotel is in real need of a good deep clean and an update. It was filthy. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting.
The price was good and the breakfast was very good and is included in the rate. Be careful of the extra euro 2.50 city per person per room! Also the exchange rate the hotel gives when calculating your Expedia rate for euro to dirhams needs to be watched as you lose about 2 MAD per Euro. You do not get the option to pay in euro or on card.
The hotel is also very noisy when other guests come in. There is no control on noise.
Overall ok for the money bar the cleanliness.

Simple and clean Riad close to the public parking area (outside the medina).
Staff - out of the 3 staff we met ONLY 1 person was kind and helpful as for the other 2 they never talked to us or made us feel at home.. Cold ambiance from our arrival to our departure!
Room - the door did not have a keyhole so we were offered a padlock to lock the room up! However, we never felt our stuff was safe when we left the premises although we took all our money and IDs with us..Glad we did so because upon our return to the room we realised the door handle has been forced when we were wandering out. This is just intolerable!!! Apart from that sad episode, the room itself is nicely decorated but hot at night.. + BIG and uncomfortable pillows!!
Bathroom - Cannot call that a bathroom! Just a shower head hung to a wall with the toilet separted by a shower curtain (no cubicle so water spilled all over)..
Breakfast - That was the worst breakfast I had during my holidays in Morocco!! No wonder why it's included in the price..
This Riad can do for 1 night stay maximum then it may become unbearable!!

Location was very easy to find from the bus station. Friendly and relaxing check-in experience. The room was nicely decorated with complimentary tea served. The door to the room was a bolt and padlock which is unusual.
I feel the experience could have been improved with the option of a pre-ordered breakfast as there are only five rooms this would have made breakfast more organised and prevent wastage.
I felt my stay was let down by the cleanliness of the bed linen as I consider this to be the most important part of a stay. I'm sure if I had mentioned this at the time it would have been changed.

The hotel is in a nice location, however it's a bit outdated. Pillows were not very comfy and bathroom was really small. The breakfast was fresh served on the patio. overall it was an ok experience

Had a pleasant stay. It was easy to locate, just about 10 to 15 minutes walk from the bus station. The service at the hotel was nice as well.

Dar Zayna is just off Bab Marrakech, easy to find.A charming house, if not for the foul odor coming from the bathroom of the cherazad room. The annoying smell unfortunately kept me awake most of the night. I hope they fix this problem. The le oriental room my brother and his wife stayed at on the 2nd floor is alright. The terrace where breakfast is served is beautiful Youness, the owner is reserved but very helpful , as all of our host in Morocco is.
