Late check in, so the place was locked and I had to be buzzed in. The wait wasn’t long. Checking in was smooth. Late late sunday night/Monday morning people were walking around in the lobby 👀 That was weird.
As soon as I walked in the room I was punched in the face with a weird B.O smell. It was very thick. It was stuck in the room and wasn’t going anywhere. Still I just wanted to rest and get sleep so I went in and the room was GROSS the bed was stained and there was blood stains on the chair. The bathroom smelled like roadkill. I could not stand being in there because of the smell. I was also unable to shower because of the smell. The “curtain” on the window was raggedy af I had to thread it back in place so I could get privacy, I was on the second floor and right in the center over the parking lot, so very displayed for anyone arriving or leaving. I would not recommend. I thought since it was newer it would be clean but I was very wrong. Go down the street and spend a little more for a way cleaner place.

We loved the hotel! The front desk staff was friendly and overall the hotel and our room were both very clean. The beds could’ve been a little more comfortable, but no big deal. Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family!

Prior to booking this hotel I recommend reading the review of Oct. 8, 2024. It described the hotel to a T. The room was clean and roomy but the lack of attention to detail was evident in the craftmanship of the hotel and the cleanliness of it. The hallway needed vacuuming the entire four days we were there but to our knowledge was never vacuumed. A drink was spilled in the elevator and left for several hours. Once mopped, the floor continued to be sticky, and the liquid was evident on the walls and doors. The room had a desk/table that we used to eat and work. Since we had a room with two double beds it would have been beneficial to have a second chair, as then one of us wouldn't have to sit on the edge of the bed while eating. The chair was comfortable and rolled really easily. This could possibly become a safety hazard; is someone wasn't cautious. We could hear people walking above us, but we didn't have any loud neighbors during our stay and the staff was friendly and helpful. If you need a place to lay your head and don't require anything else this could be the place for you.

May not be safe for single travelers. Our neighbor had blasted her tv all night had to turn the air conditioner down to 68 and freeze in order to drown out her tv. The people above us were moving furniture in the middle of the night lasting from 2am-4am. called the front desk they did not seem to care. The only thing I liked was the connivence of being able to cook in the kitchen. The area around this hotel is beautiful. I wish the staff would be in more control of the guests they rent these rooms to and get some security Please!

As soon as I entered my room, I was impressed with the modern design, the colors of the walls, and the furniture. It looked spotless. I really liked the amenities that were available. The big refrigerator, microwave, and stove are all necessary for a family trip.
Although it looked spotless, I found that the floor looked like it had not been swept. There were some particles of trash under the table, under the beds, and near the beds. There was also dust on the furniture.

The area around and the staff were great. The hotel was also clean. The beds were a bit hard, making it hard to get a good nights rest. The walls and ceiling are very thin. People above were running back and forth all night and it was very loud.
Breakfast was oatmeal packets and cereal bars, so don’t expect too much there, but better than nothing. Overall, would stay again if the need arose.

It was a little disappointing. The hotel was down to the absolute bare minimum. No breakfast offered. I had to ask for a coffee maker For my room. Plus, there were ants in my bathroom and in the kitchen area. Hardly any staff. This particular hotel in San Marcos needs some attention In terms of offering more and customer service

It was very clean and modern. Comfy bed, nice shower with plenty of water pressure. Smelled like new and had a recliner and desk and even a kitchenette.

Didn't expect a full size frigerator. I switched hotels 2 times before settling in extended stay i was finally satisfied with our room at check-in. Next time I'll book my full stay at extended stay.

The place was nice and clean. A lot of homelessness around the hotel which was odd because we really didnt see this in the surrounding areas. The hotel staff was hardly at the desk and they never answered the phone. That was the only downside.. that and no coffee.

Very dirty hotel. Floors are obviously not mopped very often if at all. This continues in the rooms where the showers are stained and there are hairs in the shower curtain and towels. The power goes out after 30 minutes of inactivity in the room so if you require any electronics at night like a cpap, good luck trying to get a wink of sleep.

Terrible customer service! They don't offer continental breakfast or complimentary water. I booked my reservation through Expedia and paid Extended America directly for $199 a night and Extended America charged my card $600 for two nights!! And they refused to honor the Expedia price that I had initially booked/reserved for $199 a night. Horrible customer experience and I won't ever stay at Extended America ever again. I much rather sleep on the street that to stay at Extended America again. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT STAY at Extended America.

There is no one at the front desk ever. Instayed a week and no one came to clean my room. For being a new hotel is this already looks bad. If youre looking fot a clean place this is good enough if your looking for the hotel experience this is not the place.
