The fact that no cleaning was done we slept in the same sheet for our two-night stay no additional toilet paper was provided. I was a bit disappointed the stuff was nice but I don't know how this is run by the manager or property manager.

Keep in mind this property is in a residential area. Neighbor had a barking dog... at night :( It was very close to the beach and the "business" area. You can walk to everything you need.

We had a great visit staying at Nuestra Casa. The hotel is small, which kept things quiet, and the vibe was friendly with other hotel guests. The breakfast was HUGE compared to other hotels and the AC was strong in the rooms. Overall clean, simple rooms. The pool was a reprieve from the hot temps. The hill up to the hotel was steep but manageable on foot (short distance). Would return for another stay.

The hotel is clean, staff were wonderful, the cooked to order included breakfast was great. The location is very walkable to everything if you are healthy, unfortunately I'm not, so because it is on a steep hill and the heat/humidity, I required a taxi every time coming or going. I wish this had been disclosed because I ended up spending more time at home than planned. There is no hand rail for entering/exiting the swimming pool which is dangerous, the concrete floors are very slippery when wet, I had a lot of difficulty and was very grateful when the security man helped me a few times.

We had the top floor room with a balcony & view of the ocean. It had a great bed. The breakfasts were very nice. Unfortunately, there was no hot water on the morning that we were checking out. That may have been citywide.

The property was conveniently located to town but extremely quiet. It seemed it was set up for more seasoned and mature travelers. We will come back again.

We stayed 2 nights here. It is like a small hotel, apparently a sister hotel to Casa Oro. The location was nice and slightly off the business of the restaurants but only a short 5 min walk to all amenities. Staff only spoke Spanish but some English. We were the only guests when we went and there was always someone available for help or questions in the main area. We loved being only a few minutes from the beach, shops and restaurants. The area felt very safe and secure. Our only issue was we had many bugs in our room. We didn’t know if this was expected but we had ants everywhere including in the sheets and bedding. Just something to keep in mind if you’re a bit squeamish. Otherwise the staff was lovely and accommodating during our stay.

This place calls itself a bed-and-breakfast on Expedia. As such, I expected there to be breakfast. I told them about the discrepancy and so far no change on the listing.There was not breakfast. there was coffee, but no milk for the coffee. The pool is also very cold.

Avoid at all cost!!!We had our booking of a delux room with a queen bed for 1 night through hotels.com and when we arrived they offered us a tiny room with a bunk bed for the same price.When I asked them for a delux room they said that it will be available later and we would have to pay $20 more or take the bunk bed room for the price of a delux as according to them, the hotels.com has already given us a discount. So they just decided not to give us a room we booked unless we pay extra for whatever reason.The communication was extremely difficult as the person in charge did not speak English and my husband tried to communicate as he speaks some Spanish. This whole debate lasted for a while after which we left our luggage and went to the beach and I reached out to hotels.com customer service and they settled it to our satisfaction but unfortunately we still had to pay the original booking price and take the bunk bed for the night. When we came back later to pay they decided to charge us 5% more on top of the booking price because I was paying with a credit card and that was not mentioned on any booking or anywhere, which again they tried to argue, called up a person who spoke English and was very rude to me to the point that he started footballing a garbage bin at me.Anyways,I had to contact hotels.com once again to settle this new issue. Had a great stay. Location was perfect, a couple of minutes to the beach and the bustle of the main streets. Little upstairs area where you can watch the sunset. Tiny pool but great for cooling off. Unlimited filtered water and a communal kitchen which we didn’t use but perfect for those who need. Can’t fault for the price.

The staff was very friendly. We was provided adequate information on tours which saved us money.

Unfortunatly i cant recommend this hotel. It just felt generally run down and our room could have done with a really good clean. I had to clean the toilet seat myself as it was splattered with urine!!! I asked if breakfast was included when we arrived and the staff member just grunted no at me, didn't explain or offer any help about anything. There was hardly ever anyone around and it just felt lkke they were trying to run this place on a shoestring. We ended up organising our onward taxi at a hostel in town instead. The pool is also miniscule and dirty. The air con unit also did not work effectivly for the size of the room.
