Very nice hotel very close to Fenway and Boston University. Clean good continental breakfast quick check in and checkout only problem was room was warm couldn’t get the temp to go under 72 even with thermostat set to 50.

5 Stars! The Arcadian in Boston/Brookline is a newly remodeled and well managed hotel. The staff are welcoming and the breakfast buffet is a real continental style with high quality pastries, yogurts, hardboiled eggs and coffee. The lobby is awesome and has both couches and dinning table options. I chose the room option with 4 bunk beds but we enjoyed, even the kids. Being over 60 it was a little unnerving doing most everything on line before our arrival. However, check-in went smoothly, the staff was knowledgeable, friendly and overall, our entire stay was wonderful. Of note, the Boston T Green C Line Trolly track was right in front of the hotel and made for great exploring of the city. We even took it to the Airport.

Awesome experience. Only slight complaint is no microwave. We had leftovers that we couldn’t heat up but everything else was great!

Super friendly front desk folks.
Great value.
Free breakfast, lots of good options, but get there early! Not much left after 9 AM. Comfortable common space.
No parking available, except street parking was free on Sunday night.
Lots of restaurants and a Trader Joe's within walking fistance.
Green Line T train stop close by.
Hotel could use a bit of care, but overall, we had a nice, clean, comfortable room. No problems. Super convenient, quiet location.

The Good: excellent location right on the T green line with nice walkable and safe area with good food options. The hotel is nicely appointed and modern. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. Does include continental breakfast although pretty limited and no real hot options. The nightly price was better than city hotels (there was some sort of race going on and prices were insane that weekend).
The bad: parking onsite is very expensive BUT there is ample street parking (metered) and close cheap lot on center St. We had a specific issue was not resolved. The heater was on to 75deg and we could not bring the temp down to a more comfortable temp. We spoke to front desk the 2nd night and maintenance did go and changed the filter but this did not fix the issue. The next day I went again to front desk and they said they would have someone come again. We went out the whole day and came back to the same problem despite maintenance did “something”. I requested a room change but this was not possible and was offered fans and a discount. I did not sleep 2 of the 3 nights due to the room being so hot. It was 60s outside and I would have been happy to open a window and be done but they are sealed. The staff was nice about the issue but I would have preferred the issue be fixed or have been moved so we could sleep instead of the discount.

Basic hotel with good continental breakfast. They don't clean your room unless you ask for it during your stay

This hotel is very conveniently located near public transit, which was great. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Many of the rooms have windows that face the inner hallways, not the outdoors, which seemed a bit odd to me. Breakfast is included in the hotel fee, but navigating breakfast was a nightmare. The breakfast food area is much too small for the number of people being served. Food is in stations with narrow walking areas between stations. People were nearly bumping into each other all the time. Additionally, items were placed in odd & cumbersome places. An example, spoons were not near the cereal station but next to the juice cups. It sounds like a small thing, but it is annoying. Especially since looking from afar, the breakfast food looks so appealing. They are in great need of a good interior designer revamping their breakfast space. We will not be back.

Staff at check-in were most helpful and friendly and I turned up at about 1 a.m. cool concept hotel with a funny drive up feel. Breakfast was a bit odd with awkward and silent people milling about. Maybe So background music would help the vibe.

While the reservation page indicated a "no-view" room, it was only upon check-in that the meaning of "no-view" was crystalized. The windows at the hotel point inside - into the hallway which ment that my entire stay was spend in a box without a window - because no one wants to open his window to the internal corridor inside the hotel. In addition, it wasn't clarify to me during check-in that you have to ask at reception to have your room cleaned, as a result I did not get room service for the entire stay.

Horrible stay! Will not stay at this property again. Caught covid during my stay. Breakfast was awful as you can see the banana tray is what was serve. Vent was full of dust, as we were breathing it. Toilet was not working properly, drains in the shower/tub was slowly draining.

This property was better than I expected. The rooms were modern and clean. The breakfast included lots of pastries, breads, cereals, and fruit. It is located close to the Greenline subway.
Parking is not free! The Hotel does not have any parking. you must pay for parking with another unrelated company for $45 a night. We went with Spot Hero and found a place close enough to walk.
Next to parking, my next biggest complaint was the registration process. They want you to scan your drivers license and take a photo of yourself and submit prior to them sending you the address.

What's up with this place? I have to upload my ID and a selfie. Why? I had to check in once in person. No scheduled room cleaning, even for long stays. Dark rooms. Loud climate control unit. For 600 bucks a night, you can do better.

Expected more for the cost. TV had about 5 channels! Room had a distinct funky smell! Good location! Got to breakfast at about 9:45 and there was no bread/bagels. Breakfast ends at 11:00am! Will try somewhere else next time!

The ability to purchase a bottle of water would have been greatly appreciated. Maybe a vending machine in the lobby with the availability to purchase water? Also, a different system should be put in place to feed the homeless people. I am sure that there is plenty of leftovers from the breakfast, but allowing them to eat with the customers isn't a great idea, when they are paying over $600 a night for a room. There really should be a better plan for that.
