The room was small, but clean. The bathroom light was outside of the bathroom and behind the door, so you had to turn it on, blast light into the room, and then go in. It wasn't very convenient at all. The floor had a definite slant to it and felt as if you were walking downhill. Our key card didn't work the first night we came back from dinner, so I went to the office to get it taken care of. There was nobody in the office, but there was a phone to call and get someone to help you. Nobody answered the phone, so I went back to our car and texted the owner for assistance. I never got a reply. A few minutes later, I walked back up to the office to see if the clerk returned. The person in there, must have been the owner, was very irritated that I texted and called, saying that he was only gone for a few minutes. His reaction was rude and enough to make me not want to stay here again. Beware that there isn't always somebody on the premises and that if you require assistance, they may be annoyed with you. I'm sure he wasn't annoyed with the money I spent there. Plus side - it's close to Black Canyon of the Gunnison.

Was needing a place for 1 noght and didnt want to spend too much. For an inexpensive and quick overnight stay the motel was nice and we were happy with the property.

Its a great option for an amazing price. Very comfortable bed and decent size room. Each room has a little patio set out front. Good options for breakfast. Very cute fire pit area and very walkable options for dinner. Overall worth the price.

Stay was fine. Great for just a nights stay. Couldn’t beat the price and was very convenient to black canyon and the highway. Owner was responsive and beds were comfortable.

What a lovely treasure! Clean rooms and the most comfortable bed we've ever stayed on. I've also never stayed at a quieter motel in my life. We couldn't hear our neighbors, being a smaller motel you didn't have people coming and going at all hours. Totally would stay at again.
Only issue was very poor Internet with no cable so streaming was a must if you watch TV. We couldn't get speeds to at least 1 mbps. We ended up setting up a hotspot to watch TV. That's really not acceptable. If you're not going to offer cable you MUST have Internet enough to stream.
Hands down would stay at again though ❤️

Older motel but has recently been updated. Small room but exceptionally clean and comfortable. Park your vehicle right outside your door made it easy to move luggage back and forth. Would definitely stay here again!

This is an older Building that has been recently remodeled. It was super clean and looked great.
The check in was a breeze and the People were friendly.
It was a very positive environment.
Highly recommend this place.

We stayed here one night, after visiting the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. The room was clean and nice, but the air conditioner was a bit loud. The woman at the front desk was very helpful, and recommended a BBQ place for dinner (Jimmers,) that had great food. We appreciated the complimentary snack bars and water bottles for the next day's drive.

The room is not spacious but I don’t consider that a negative. The room, and bathroom, were clean. The bed was good also. (We should have requested a couple of additional pillows, but didn’t) I had a problem with the key card on check-in but the young lady at the desk quickly fixed the problem and verified the re-coded card worked. We appreciated the grab-n-go area in the lobby when we got ready to leave - it was quick and easy.

This was a good place to crash for a couple of nights that didn't break the bank. The grab & go breakfast was a nice touch. The rooms have been recently redone, which was great. The bed was pretty comfortable. The bathroom was nice and the shower got hot and had great water pressure. Appreciated the mini fridge and microwave. Location was decent; near things but a little bit on the outskirts of town. I would stay here again. However, I do have one complaint, and other reviews have commented on this as well- but the the floors were extremely dirty. That was really the only issue of the whole stay, but the floors really did seem gross. If this establishment could make sure to clean the floors well in between guests, that would go a really long ways.
