I was a bit annoyed with them (and myself) as I'd accidentally booked a smoking room. I hadn't done this intentionally and hadn't spotted it on my booking. Seriously, who offers smoking rooms in this day and age? Time warp to the 1960s??! Anyway,. the hotel said they'd sold out of smoking rooms and I had to pay extra to upgrade. The hotel was a bit soulless and I wouldn't choose to stay again.

I stayed in 2 different Roynet Hotels this trip. The one in Toyama Ekimae is good, the room is clean and nice services. The breakfast is really nice, provide fresh sashimi from Toyama bay. Worth for money. Good experience overall.
But the one in Nagoya Taiko Dori, very normal service standard, room conditions is a bit old, not enough space in the room to manage my luggages. Bathroom size is reasonable.
It has only 6 parking space, first come first serve basis. I paid Yen1500 parking per night nearny, not expensive in town. Breakfast is not bad but with limited choices. My feeling is it's not worth for money I paid for. I would rather pay more for better service or pay less and get less. Not prefer something in between.
May be their business is too good, staffs look tired. Unlikely will stay at this hotel next time go to Nagoya.

There is a convenience store attached, so it is very convenient.
And the advantage is that there are smoking rooms available in the room options.

Great location, walkable to Nagoya Train Station. They let us leave our bags at the front desk before checkin so that we could explore the city. Room was small, but was acceptable for our needs. Very nice breakfast. Be sure to ask for water before checkout day because they won't give you any on the day of checkout.

We selected this hotel for one night just because it was located near the Nagoya station and we needed to pick up train to Tokyo next day. The environment and service of the hotel was above our expectations and our booking also included breakfast. Although the choice of food of the breakfast was not many, food quality was fine.

I like the overhead shower. The room is so clean, big enough. Everything is good.

It’s very good located. The hotel is near 7-11 and a 24 hours supermarket. Got decent restaurants nearby. And it’s not too far from train station. The coin operated washers is a plus.

The rooms are quite good and I like the overhead shower so much. It is a walking distance from the station, quiet around the district.

Terrible check in. Gave us a room with NO window (they claim it has a window, but it's actually a fake one). When I complained and asked for change they blamed us for not making a request with window in advance. But actually all their photos on the website have windows and they didn't state the room has no window. Almost all staff at reception desk don't speak Eng (at best very limited), they rely on using a translation device for two-way communication. And the change of room process was extremely slow. No apologies at all for giving us a windowless room while there're better ones. When we asked for 2 more bath towels by phone, a staff came up with 1 bath towel, I said we couldn't share towel, she said with poor Eng that one person's only allowed one hand towel and one bath towel. Is this a hotel or a prison? The rate was not cheap at all! Then she came again and gave us 4 bath towels and each day replenished another 4. So eventually our cabinet was filled with a stack of unused towels and PJ (They kept refilling PJ even when they're not used). Staff are cold, mechanic, unhelpful and inefficient. Room facility is OK, except for the original room with no window which features a separate toilet seat in a dark cell with no window. Hospitality is non exist here.

Nice room with king size comfortable bed. Great bathroom especially with a separate shower outside bath. No coffee or tea supplied in room. Breakfast was a bit limited and crowded.

Great stay, very clean and spacious room, located very close to the train station so that was convenient. The hotel held our luggage after checkout so that was very convenient since our train wasn’t until 9pm and checkout was at 10am. Would stay here again.
