It was great! Fast Check In. There’s a Birdi Cafe right there on the hote. It so close to the Beach just a block away. Every is near. Restaurants, shopping stores, Gas stations. Even rentals for chairs, scooters, bikes, etc. The convention center is 5min away. We loved it. And can not wait for next year family trip again.

Great location. Clean, friendly service and cafe with good food and service.

We loved the convenient location of the beach and boardwalk and the hotels pool was incredible. 8 feet deep and a fenced off 1 foot end for babies. Our only complaints were the uncomfortable beds and Nonexistent water pressure in the shower and we had an incident with the cleaning woman one day. My fiance was in the shower and I was putting our baby down for a nap and there was a knock at the door and as I was getting up to open the door, the cleaning woman opened the door with a key. I just thought that was unprofessional and we weren’t given a chance to answer before she entered. After that, we left the do not disturb sign on the door for the rest of the stay.

Room was so clean. For the price expected more. Bathroom outdated. Squeaky bed. This was a 1 room and kitchenette.

The manager was the sweetest lady. Our stay was wonderful and incident free. Perfectly in walking distance to the beach, boardwalk and good food

The owner lady was very friendly & was easy check in. The pool area was clean and many areas to sit. They have local radio station playing mildly with music. The only sad part were the beds, very uncomfortable, but when ur exhausted from a day of fun - who cares, your just crashing.

Hotel front desk staff very rude. Did not explain rules appropriately.

Classic MCM Wildwood motel. Great location and staff.

Amazing front desk staff; accommodating, and welcoming. Needed a quick stay over before competition and it was perfect!

Being that it was an end of season stay, i guess everything was ok. Restaurant on site was not open, which was one reason we wanted to stay there. Rooms are small, compared to other places we stayed. Bathroom is in need of upgrade. Very close quarters. Fridge didnt work very well, wasnt very cold to keep leftovers or drinks in. Room was clean, basically, but with no rug, you could feel the grit or sand on the floor. Cable system for the TV and channel selection is absolutely awful. Housekeeping does a good job, but on our third day, we had to go ask for clean towels. The whole outside property area is in need of a good cleanup, but again, it was the final days they were open for the year.

The hotel rate was fairly cheap for the area but the needs to be renovated. Disappointed that their breakfast restaurant was not open during our stay.

I would have liked to have had curtains to block the outside lights. I sleep better when it is dark. It was comfortable and plenty of room.

When we first entered the room, the smell was terrible we had to leave the door open. It was a mixture of urine and mold. You only got one towel per person, if you wanted ice you had to pay $5 for a bag, there was a coffee machine in the room but no coffee. The room needs a lot of improvements, everything is old and the smell is terrible

Don't let the paint job fool you the way it fooled us. Though pictures of this motel make it look shiny and new, the insides of the rooms are terrible. The beds were awful and so uncomfortable, pillows were flat and they provide no extra pillows or blankets. The bathroom was old, toilet didn't flush, sink did't drain, shower was weak and ran either scalding hot or too cold. We booked 2 nights and only stayed for one night. I couldn't sleep another night on those beds. They also charge you $200 hold for excessive dirty-ness or stains on towels. We made sure not to leave a mess so as not to end up losing more money to this place. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Our stay at Tangiers was overall very good. The bathroom is dated, but functional. Nice pool. Management is very friendly, as is the staff. One of the main draws to this motel was the on-site cafe. We were disappointed to find that it hasn't been open for some time, per a motel regular. Aside from that, everything was perfect for our weekend stay.

Older dumpy motel. Sofa very old and dirty looking. Toilet barely flushes if hold the handle down. Lots of signs not to violate any rules, every person needs to present ID.

We were in Rm#302, during our stay. The attendant checking us in, was pleasant. We arrived to our clean room, the bathroom door knob was very loose, we kept the door open during our stay and reported it to staff when checking out of our room. The mattress for the bed was way too hard for myself or my husband. I was looking forward to eating breakfast in the coffee shop to find it was closed. It was one of the reasons. I booked here.

Needed an update!

Dirty and had a very musty smell. The beds were very hard without any bedspreads or blankets on them , only covered with sheets. The bathroom was very old and outdated. We had to hold the handle down a few seconds just to get the toilet to flush . The cold water handle would continue to leak even though it had been turned off. They need to put some money in this motel to update and have it professionally cleaned .

Stayed for 3 nights. 1 adult and 3 teenagers. This is the perfect motel if your just looking for a place to sleep at night. Clean rooms, close to the beach, great pool area, slight walk to the boardwalk, lots of things to do in the immediate area. The hotel manager is so nice, we arrived 4 hours early before check in and she let us park in the lot and use the pool. And on check out day she offered the same. Overall great beach motel, we’ll be back!!

Rooms are small and not the cleanest. I don’t think they even change the sheets.

The floor in our room was sandy & we hadn’t even been to the beach. The very out dated plumbing & decor. The staff gave our room key to someone else & had to go retrieve them. They just seemed very unorganized.

Where do i begin. Check in after 4. Check out at 10 am…. Cannot leave your car near before check in after check out didnt even ask them just wanted to get out quickly as possible from there. Wifi in room doesnt work. Bring ur own toiletries. No extra pillows. Had to ask to change the sheets cos they had some orange stains on it. Never again.

My family and I have been coming to Wildwood Crest every year for the last 15 years and this is the first poor rating I have ever given. I arrived around 9 AM to be greeted by the manager of the property who is extremely disrespectful and nasty. I had asked for a parking pass due to arriving early. We were traveling with a family member who had called and gotten permission to park at the property earlier in the day. She asked me what was wrong with me for arriving so early and threatened to cancel my reservation. I never raised my voice or spoke in a disrespectful way. In addition, I had two separate reservations because I added a night after I made my original reservation. I requested to have my two reservations combined, and she replied by saying she was unable to look at my reservation or help me due to the early hour, which again was 9 AM not 5 AM. We stayed three nights, and none of the days was my room serviced. My entire floor was, including my family members room, which was a few doors down. Obviously, this was intentional. With that being said, the rest of the staff was very friendly, including the staff at the café. The surrounding area is awesome And the hotel is located close to the beach. I highly recommend staying in Wildwood Crest and visiting, we love it there. I recommend staying at a different hotel, I will not return to this hotel, and neither will any friends or family based on the treatment I received from the manager.

Nice surrounding area and walkable to beach (few short blocks). Clean rooms, microwave, apartment size fridge, Keurig but no k cups included, two burners, dish soap and sponge, pots, pans, utensils, dishware and glasses. No shampoo or blow dryer. Very budget friendly place. Would return.

Tangiers Motel was a vintage, very convenient, and enjoyable place to stay with my daughter and another family (in two different rooms). We loved how close it was to the beach, there was a kitchenette, and the staff was friendly and worked with us (they gave us adjacent rooms). It worked well for our two night stay.

The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom could use updating. Staff very helpful.

The staff was very nice. The property needs to be updated. We had a room with a kitchen (sort of) and it was barely stocked with kitchen essentials. There was also no blow dryer. The bathroom looked like it was the original bathroom from decades ago. We made due, but won’t be back.

We were in NJ for Beach Blast and decided to stay away from the noise of the board walk area. It is nice and quiet at this hotel! You can see the ocean from the 2nd and 3rd levels and it is a short walking distance til you're on the sand.
The only issue we had was the ceiling leaking (literally raining) water in the bathroom in the early morning. It did look like it has happened before based on the cracks in the ceiling, but I could be wrong. They gave us some towels for us to clean it up ourselves and said they took care of whatever the issue was in the room above us. It didn't happen again after that.
All in all, I would stay here again if needed. Rooms are clean, area is quiet, it's a very short drive or within walking distance to alot of stuff! And the owners and workers at the front desk were super nice. Pool area is also very clean and relatively calm.
