website stated ocean view but we got a laguna view. expected to be on the beach and not a laguna. overall comfort was good and the breakfast was also good as part to the rental.

My wife and I came for a vacation to Cancun and unfortunately we did not expect our stay to be this bad. Although it was a cheap hotel we did expect the minimum from them especially because they are in Marriot group. These are the things we noticed and happened that made our stay unpleasant: 1. Breakfast: breakfast had very limited options, the vienoisserie (croissant, bread…) were made unprofessionally, most breakfast items were heavy mexican dishes like frijoles, tortillas, soups… that honestly smelled very bad in the morning especially when there was cooked chicken and beef. 2. The in-room bathroom: The bathroom only had towels and some soaps as amenities, no toothbrush, no cotton swabs, no sponges. The shampoo and showergels smelled so bad they also felt like dishwasher soap on us. There was also hairs in the shower and the shower head also had black spots on in like mold. 3. The room: There was a very bad smell in the room all our stay, it honestly bothered us a lot. 4. Location of our room: We booked our room with a view, they gave us a room directly next to the parking. When we asked for a change they told us it was fully booked now but we should wait till another room is available another day. When they told us a room is available we didn’t want to change because we already settled down and unpacked and we had a lot of activities to do in Cancun. 5. The receptionists barely speak english and we were finding it hard to communicate questions we had about our stay.
