Vero Beach was voted one of Florida's Top beaches by USA Today calling it the 'true gem of the Florida Treasure Coast'. The area has an absence of high rises and has an abundance of parks and wildlife refuges. Often while visiting the beach you may find yourself alone, with wildlife including birds, dolphins, and sea turtles. And if you like to fish there is great action right there on the seashore! There are 3 beach cruisers for bicycling. The Central Beach area has a farmer's market on Saturdays from 8 till 12 that offers a variety of fresh vegetables, precooked foods a assortment of other local goods and seafood. Many guests that have visited this home have combined it with a vacation that included Disney World as well as a stay at the beach.
This area of Florida is known as the Treasure Coast. In 1715 a fleet of Spanish Galleons was headed from Cuba to Spain and they were filled with treasures including gold and silver. They encountered a hurricane and sunk with all their treasures on board. To this day gold and silver coins are found along this stretch of beach! The McLarty museum is one mile from this home and has excellent artifacts that have been preserved from these vessels. Treasure hunting is a great activity and is enjoyed by many.
We have taken care to stock this beach home, so that all you will really need is your suitcase and personal belongings.

My family and I couldn't have asked for a better vacation. The location of this home is perfect for a relaxing and family focused get away. There were many days the beach was almost empty. Great experience overall and will definitely be returning soon!

It was a great location, a little worn from the ocean and sea air, I’m sure maintenance is hard to keep up! We enjoyed our time at the beach for sure the location is the key. The neighbor is a little crazy, but she is just protecting her property, it was quite entertaining listening to her yell at everyone parking in the beach access lot. The mosquitoes and no seeums were awful, but we made out fine, it’s a beach house surrounded by sea grapes! Loved our time and thanks for being great hosts!

Perfect space for our family! We loved the private beach area. The closet in the master bedroom was even large enough to use as a 4th bedroom, fitting a travel crib for the baby.

Thoroughly enjoyed our week at the beach! We chose this house because the location seemed quieter and more private than others we were considering. Most days, we shared the beach with less than 10 other people…and there is a public beach access not far away, so we were not disappointed! Owners responded to all communication quickly. If there had been any problems during our stay, I feel that they would have been addressed quickly. The house itself met all of our needs, but there were minor cosmetic/maintenance items that will need to be addressed in the future. When we stayed at the property, it had been sold to the new owners less than a month before our arrival. Give them a little time and I’m sure they will do a great job managing this property. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking to truly get away from it all!
