Overall we enjoyed our stay at Summit Solitude and it made a great base camp for Biking the Hiawatha trail and visiting family in Harrison. However, there were some issues that the property manager has assured us is not the usual occurrence for this VRBO. Some of the issues we found when we arrived were both beds sheets on the queen and king bed were upside down and on side ways. The queen bed was fully missing its top sheet. The floor mat in the bathroom was wet. And there were still old coffee grounds in the coffee maker when I went to make a pot in the morning. For the price and the previous reviews we expected a lot better. Also, I would suggest a 4x4 or at least AWD to access the driveway as it is up a steep and slippery gravel lane. We had to get a running start and take a couple runs at it multiple times as we rented a Ford F150, and apparently in California they sell them in 2wd. We had a fun trip all in all, and it may have just been a comedy of errors that plagued our vacation, and if we stay again in the future we our hoping for a more put together experience.
