The hotel is fairly new and the physical condition is excellent. The complementary breakfast was dismal, cereal was stale the fruit was next to being thrown out. I was going to make toast but the bread was stale as well. My first night i had to use the hand wash to shower with because the bodywash and shampoo containers were empty in the shower. The staff was not rude however they probably had someplace they would have rather to be.

Seems to have been recently remodeled. Outlets and charging ports inoperable. Had to figure out how to get a lamp plugged in to a hidden outlet. No hotel directory or wireless instructions in the room. Cheap tv in room with no directory. Staff marginally able to communicate in hoodrat. Great coffee and breakfast. Very comfortable beds. Way overpriced.

The staff was great. The room door locked and they had to break in to get our things and move us. They accommodated us, but we had to wait in the lobby for about an hour.

The hotel was very nice, clean and quiet. The rooms and decor throughout were brand new due to the recent opening. Staff was friendly and answered any questions that I had. The breakfast was good. Oveall I enjoyed my short stay and I would come back again if I visited Alton.
