Could have done much more. Paid for breakfast but I was served what I could purchase on the street.

This Hotel have signs that it was a nice place to stay before covid. There are some improvements the owner is addressing such as plumbing. Being without guest for a couple years and the owner was really not expecting us as he had cancelled all bookings, the generator for the AC was not primed. However, the owner was the epitome of hospitality
His staff on hand quickly found a room with an old fashion electic AC that worked quite well. The room was quickly dusted and a small fridge was moved into the room
The linen was clean and next morning the front desk staff brought us hot coffee. They really tried to accommodate us. The decor is native to Haiti. The location is in the central area of Cap City but on a quieter side street.
I think once the improvements to the plumbing issues are made and the entry treshold tiles replace, some cleaning up of the entry courtyard etc is done it will again reflect the vibrancy it must have had before the 2 years neglect occurred. I must add that I'm a usual 4-5* hoyel patron and was really repelled at the 1st impression. But our driver had a long day driving us fro Hinche over a very rough 2hours of bad road and he abandoned us after dropping us off at the front gate. The 2 young women that was there were obviously not expecting us. They called the owner and he was one of the nicest understaning persons ever. Along with the 2 youn ladies, my husband's patience I was able to calm down sufficiently to accept the hospitality.

The Hotel claim that they have parking and it wasn't true if one car already park, you have to find your way to park outside the hotel. at checking the lady was so nice but i never get a towel on time in my room
due to the construction, it was a mess

One of the three receptionist was so awful I believe she needs to receive a courtesy class to work to any decent hotel in the area. I spent 10 days without watching any news because the TV is not working at all. The hotel can’t not provide me with a bottle of water besides the first day, the receptionist greeted me with one bottle of water. They told me that the hotel will charge me with a $20 fee if I have a guest slept with me in my room with two beds. Quietly frankly I had bad experience this time with this hotel and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who wants to go to a vacation in Cap-Haïtien. The only positive thing in this hotel is the lady who prepares the breakfast and happens to do everything in this hotel such as receptionist, cooking and cleanings as well. To sum up, that lady has more customers service more than any other two ladies who worked at the front desk.

Well, it’s an OK enough place to stay if you need a place just to crash for the night or nights. Aside from that the hotel could use some upgrades inside and out.
this is my second times staying there and I encountered a lot more problem during this stay then I did on my last trip, some of the issues were : no hot water, and when I told the front desk they said there is hot water, we showered with cold water a couple of times and went back to report the problem again, but it took an argument to get the problem resolved which the guy said was a breaker behind the bathroom. The power kept cutting out every hour every night til about 3am no one seem to be bother by it nor did we ever get an explanation. Breaksfast is okay...

I didn't like the service I spent 2 days with out AC-DC and room service. I will not recommend it to anyone else's.

This place is way over priced for what it is, the free wifi did not work while I was there, rooms are really small and the bathroom running water was just hot water when taking a shower and that was no fun! TV didn't work but after several request they came and fix it. Lots of Miskitos inside the room and extremely humid.

There was an issue with phone reception in the original room, but I was moved. The T.V. is controlled by Registration and not satisfactory. Otherwise, the people are nice and they provide with Air Conditioned and breakfast is just fine. I believe that they are willing to satisfy and for this, I would recommend this place.

We showed up at the hotel, but did not stay. We did not feel the area was safe with the political unrest that was happening. The hotel did not have a restaurant.

Reserved hotel the day prior. Staff did not know upon arrival. Seemed confused when shown the web page confirming payment. We needed two beds but were told there were no rooms like that. When shown the photo, a room appeared. Room had a 50% discount as well that night, but we could not talk her into giving us two rooms for the same paid price.
Difficult to find off Hwy 1 as signs say Metro Hotel, but its registered as Metro Residences. Internet works in the lobby.
DESPITE all this, the rooms were spacious, clean, bright, comfortable and the breakfast the next day was OVER THE TOP...omlette, toast, fruit, juice, oatmeal, potatoes, coffee and Coconut juice out of the coconut!
Nice bar area up top..just needs people :)
