This cozy 3-bed, 1-bath home perfectly blends comfort, convenience, and stunning Mount Sopris views. Nestled in a serene neighborhood, it's ideal for families, couples, or anyone seeking a peaceful mountain lifestyle, just a short walk from downtown Basalt. Enjoy a bright, airy living space, dining area, and kitchen, plus a large outdoor patio. Your oasis features a lush summer garden and a cozy wood-burning fireplace for winter warmth, making this the perfect nest for any time of the year!
Our 1,600-square-foot home for six is nestled just outside the heart of downtown Basalt in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. It's only a 10-minute walk to Basalt’s fabulous restaurants and shops, or a 5-minute stroll to the Fryingpan River. Inside, enjoy an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area featuring a wood-burning fireplace, a dining table for six, and a fully-equipped kitchen with updated appliances and ample counter space.
Down the hallway are three bedrooms and one bathroom. The primary bedroom boasts a king-sized bed and closet, the first guest bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and the second guest bedroom offers a twin trundle daybed that pulls out to another twin bed. The remodeled bathroom features a rain shower with a handheld showerhead.
Your outdoor space features a large front deck showcasing the peak of Mount Sopris and the stunning Elk Mountains, as well as a private back porch perfect for escaping the heat of the day. The home's walkability is fantastic: enjoy peaceful strolls through the quiet streets above Basalt, or walk downtown or to the Fryingpan River. This home is cozy, quaint, and offers everything needed for the perfect mid-valley escape during any season!
PLEASE NOTE:
- PET POLICY: We allow up to two well-behaved DOGS (**Absolutely NO aggressive breeds such as pit bulls allowed) in the space as long as they are disclosed to us before arrival. There is a $250 pet fee for every 7 nights at the home. If pets are not disclosed and the pet policies are not followed, there is a $1000 fine. Pets cannot be left alone in the home alone (unless crated), dispose of pet waste, and please keep pets off of furniture. Please follow these rules if your dog is staying with us and help us keep this space pet-friendly for our guests!
- Boutique Mountain Homes verifies identity and checks criminal databases for guests we host. After booking this space you will receive an email to complete your screening from our third-party guest verification company. By booking this space, you agree to complete this verification within 24 hours of booking.
- We require the home to be cleaned every 14 days during a stay, a service that is included in your booking payment up to 29 nights. If you have booked for 30+ nights, an additional payment will be requested after your booking is confirmed to cover this service.
- This space has a STRICT NO SMOKING policy. If smoking is detected at the property after your stay, you will lose your entire deposit.
- You will be staying in the heart of the beautiful - and wild - mountains of Colorado. You may see or experience animals and pests such as bears, deer, elk, mice, packrats, insects, bobcats, snakes, raccoons, and other such wild things. While all our homes are well-managed, we cannot predict the unpredictable as we live in a natural setting. Please understand this prior to booking this home.
