About this cabin rental
Welcome to Blackberry Preserve!
Note: This is a three bedroom, two bathroom property with an open sleeping loft, but is listed as a two bedroom as a result of septic permit requirements.
The master bedroom on the main floor features deck access, a king bed, flat screen TV, and private ensuite bathroom. There are two queen bedrooms also located on the main floor, with a flat screen TV in the bedroom close to the deck. A second full bath is located between the two queen bedrooms. Upstairs in the loft, guests will find an open sleeping area with a queen and two twin beds. The fully stocked kitchen features full-sized stainless steel appliances.
Blackberry Preserve has a ceiling-height, stacked-stone gas fireplace in the living room and lots of natural light coming from the skylights and high peak windows. The entire living space features cathedral ceilings. The spacious main floor wrap-around deck offers a limited mountain view, gas grill, two outdoor dining tables, and padded seating under the covered portion for enjoying the mountain air in any season (total seating for 12). Outdoors, there is a wood burning fire pit surrounded by four Adirondack chairs, perfect for evening marshmallow roasts under the stars.
There is standard speed Wi-Fi internet access. All TVs offer Dish TV services. There is a flat screen TV in the living room. There is a DVD player in the living room and master bedroom, along with a small DVD library. There are games and puzzles in the living room cabinets and children's toys and bean bags in the loft.
Blackberry Preserve allows up to two cats to be included with a reservation; additional pet fees apply. No dogs are allowed. Firewood packets for the outdoor fire pit are available for purchase.
Downtown Blowing Rock is a short 9 minute drive. Tweetsie Railroad and Appalachian Ski Mountain are both less than 15 minutes. The famous Blue Ridge Parkway entrance is just 9 minutes away, providing access to parks, lakes, and plenty of hiking. Traditions Pottery, a quaint local shop representing six generations of local potters, is less than a half mile (continue on Blackberry Road, turn right on Bolick Road). There is a picturesque goat and sheep pasture across from the pottery shop. A small babbling creek is just down the road.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 30 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. If you purchase travel insurance and the reason for the cancellation is covered, you may recover the entire amount.
