Our stay started with wedding and reception taking place right outside our carriage house room so we were kind of stuck for a bit. No worries. The property is beautiful and well appointed with period pieces. The grounds were magical with luscious plantings and a courtyard fountain

All staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing! Still thinking about the grillades and pineapple dessert on our last morning. House was beautiful in a great area. Able to walk to a nice coffee shop and a little longer walk to get to restaurants and street car. Highly recommend this gem.

the hotel decor is amazing, you walk into what you think is a five star hotel So much thought has gone into keeping this hotel true to its roots
The main lounge and dining area are stunning which leads onto a garden area where you can eat breakfast or take tea and coffee or just relax in
The location is great It is situated on magazine street, we felt fine walking around this area, it is Within walking distance of many restaurants, convenience stores all kind of shops and the French quarter
We stayed in the corner suite which is in a building adjacent to the main hotel The suite consisted of a small lounge/ kitchen area main bedroom and bathroom All perfectly clean well proportioned and beautifully decorated
But the main stars of the hotel are undoubtedly the staff from the chefs Dwayne and Pocky to the cleaning staff
Nothing is too much trouble from a friendly chat or special order breakfast or any advice where they even offer their phone number in case of need
It is without doubt a hotel to recommend and where we would stay without hesitation

We were put on the 3rd floor (no elevator) and are over 70yrs. I think it should have been disclosed of being 44 steps up. Food was terrific. Location was good.

Wonderful in All aspects! The home is lovely: the decor, the courtyard, the rooms! Most of all Kristie is so lovely, easy to reach and helpful! I loved my stay and can’t wait to back! It’s also a short 23 minute walk to the French quarter.

This is a lovely old house - well-kept for almost 150 years old. The room and bed were quite comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is served anytime that is convenient for you, and it is very tasty. This is a great place to stay - relatively close enough to all the "action" (about 2 miles from the French Quarter) yet far enough away to be a quiet respite after a day of activity.

This B&B was located in a great area in the Garden District, and wonderful for our dog with the courtyard and nearby dog park. Kim, Michelle, and Linda were warm and friendly and the service was awesome. Kim’s breakfasts were amazing and Surrey’s was right across the street for lunch. Beds were comfortable and rooms were charming and clean. We can’t wait to come back with a group of friends!

Our time at the Terrell House could not have been nicer. I stayed in the Yellow room which was beautifully decorated with complementary sodas, water and coffee. Every part of the Bed & Breakfast was extremely clean and peaceful. The fountains in the courtyard provided a relaxing atmosphere and it felt like a little paradise. Kim & Michelle were extremely helpful and friendly. They both made sure that our visit was comfortable and pleasant. I will definitely stay at the Terrell house on my next trip to New Orleans. Also, location is in Lower Garden district which is within walking distance of restaurants and other beautiful, historical homes! First class atmosphere without the pretentiousness!
