Hotel is brilliant value for money. Parts of it, especially bathrooms, are a bit dated but high standard of cleanliness. Except for ashtrays, please supply them to stop people dropping ash and butts everywhere. Staff friendly

The hotel is desperate need of refurbishment it’s very run down and they have lots of young people running around drunk screaming and shouting at night and early morning. Everything inside the room is very old the bathroom specially. Not even a kettle in the room. Food quality is very low although Barcelona lots of buffet choices. It’s more like a 1 star or hostel quality place

Place is a warzone! I wasn’t expecting much for a cheap little get away but the first room we were given was not clean, there was hair everywhere in the bathroom, including on the shower head. There was dirt all over the walls in the bedroom and I dare think what stain was on the chair.
We arrived at the bottom hotel, which looked clean and tidy and told to go to the next hotel up the street, we walked into this hotel and it was already awful, this hotel is full of teens and is not at all controlled by the staff. On our 2nd day a man in the hotel had a chunk of his arm bitten by another male, when staff were told the security said ‘sh*t happens!’ We asked to speak to a manager who never seems to be working. We finally got to see a manager on the following day, after explaining we weren’t all inclusive we finally got to be moved to the first hotel, which is much quieter, cleaner and relaxed. Both hotel provides a wake up service in the morning by using the fire alarm, so don’t worry about missing the breakfast. If you like the croissants, good they’re the same batch all week, they gradually get harder each day. If you want to relax, book somewhere else!

Good clean rooms. Staff friendly. Hotel lacked entertainment. And not much choice of food seemed to be same every day just slight variations ok some items. Good location though. Close to beach, shops and town centre. 15minute walk to main bus station. All in all a pleasant stay

Myself and my girlfriend went to Lloret de Mar for a quick, cheap sunshine getaway, it rained the first day there and was overcast the next two days, this did slightly damped the holiday, but didn't spoil it.
When the sun was out, we made haste to explore to local area, the town, beaches and several historic sites, it's a lovely place and we would definitely go back.
As for the hotel, when we arrived, we were moved from the main site to the smaller sister hotel, this suited us better as the main hotel had a large contingent of older folks and we felt more comfortable with the younger crowd we ended up with.
We chose all inclusive to save worrying about food and drinks prices, we did not regret this at all, the drinks were served quickly, the staff were friendly, polite and could not have done more to help us, the food, as some reviews have mentioned elsewhere, was not the hottest, but there are microwaves should you need to heat it, and we made a point of going as soon as the doors were open one evening to see if it came out hot from the kitchen, which it did, they could perhaps do with some stronger heat lamps to keep it at a higher temp though.
The rooms were basic but very clean and tidy, the cleaners came every morning and left us with fresh towels and nicely made beds, the TV has only a single channel in English, but if you visit Lloret, you should really go out and explore, not sit in and watch telly, the walk up to the Castle of Sant Joan is well worth it :)

It was people in the hotel who made our stay so enjoyable! Especially restaurant stuff (we loved Francisco, the most amazing hotel staff I’ve ever come across, our 10 months old
Daughter was beside herself with him, such a lovely courtes kind genuine man).
The food was really good for the price, something for everybody. We enjoyed the all inclusive programme, it was worth it.
Rooms are tiny, but could fit extra baby cot, which was a great quality, so happy out!
No kettle in the room, no wifi, the aircon didn’t seem to work.
What I really dislike was the elevators. Barely could fit me, kid and the buggy for baby, really crazy small, claustrophobia comes to mind. And soooo slow. You don’t want to use it in the lunch or dinner time. Both pool areas amazing, clean water, plenty of loungers, Just make sure you ‘reserve’ yourself one if there happen to be coach load of teenagers on some sort of sport summer camp ;)
Front desk stuff really kind and helpful, check in with a little hiccup, as we booked via hotels.com and their internal system was down so they didn’t have us on the list, but resolved swiftly.
Taxi from Girona airport €50-60 one way, car could fit up to 8 people which is great for bigger parties.
Overall the stay was enjoyable, the hotel is a bit out of date though, it’s like coming back to 80’s :))

We have been to Blue Sea hotels on three occasions and this is the first time we have used Hotel.com. When we arrived at the hotel we had to wait at reception for two hours as they couldn't confirm that we had paid, even though we had printed copies of our confirmation. After spending a day travelling, we always look forward to checking in, dropping our bags in the room and relaxing in the bar, we were very disappointed at the shambles that occurred.

The hotel was perfectly fine except for taking in coach loads of students/teenagers who caused problems with music and noise. I moved rooms after a really awful night but all the staff were very obliging, from reception to cleaners, dining staff and bar staff. The beds were not great for comfort. Both the pool areas were good, and although repetitive, the food was of good quality and well presented. The walk back from the beach can be a bit of a drag as it is all uphill. No wifi all the time I was there. But overall I had a good stay.
