Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming many spoke very good English! Two young girls travelling and we felt very safe to stay here!

It's a great location close to bus & train station.. room size is good.
Always really nice towels.
However there was very little heating provided and it was very cold.
I arrived a day late for my 4 days booking, the owner meet me at reception said he knows am very tired I should go to my room and rest and I shall come back to pay after.
Within 10 minutes of getting to room this guy pull payment for 3 nights of my card.
On my second night my laptop was hacked, I phoned the owner to ask if someone came to my room when I was gone because there was strange hair on my laptop and the battery was dead.
To make my stay worse this guy show up at my room at 12:30 the following day telling I need to go because my booking has expired. When the booking clearly stated after I made him print it of on his computer , I had one more day. He apologised and say it's his mistake however I have to pay him for one more day, and insisting it's not much money just pay it.. As I said to him, if you had kept your word when I arrived and allow me to come sort out the booking in person then this situation would of never happen.
However you a cheeky man and cannot be trusted with clients financial details and your internet.
It's a great location however the owner is clearly not professional, responsible & trustworthy..
Go stay at your own risk.
Please be guided accordingly

It's a very basic hotel and I was only there because there was nothing in Monaco for MYS

I liked the hotel, especially for the friendly staffs. I would be very nice to have wifi in the rooms (this is just a recommendation to the hotel though they do not claimed to have wifi in the rooms). Rooms are quite large for a single person. cleanliness is also nice. Breakfast is not good, same for all the days (at least in my a week experience). If you make a balance between the cost and comfort then I think hotel de Belgique is one of the best choices.

Very nice place for the price. The train station is two minute’s walk away. My room was clean and serviced daily. Only issue was the late check-in lady on the phone was quite rude, although I had not met that particular person during my stay. The rest of the staff/owner were reasonably nice.

a last minute requirement to find a hotel became a pleasant reality when i checked into the Hotel de Belgique. the reception staff were charming and informative. the hotel suited my price range, has a great location a few minutes walk from both the railway & coach stations and its easy walking distance to the seafront and the beach, to shops and restaurants. the communal areas are clean & bright and free wifi is available here. the continental breakfast is fresh from the boulangerie and served with a smile.
being a 1 star hotel, the room is basic but functional. external noise is mitigated but not excluded by the double glazing and shutters. noise (conversation & snoring) could be heard through the walls from the adjoining room.
the room was clean. the shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water but lacked a mount and so it wasn't possible to relax in the shower after a long day as the head had to be hand held. sachets of shower gel (extras available on request) were the only toiletries provided.
wifi wasn't available in my room.

For a single room with internal bathroom and a little balcony to see the beautiful views (especially at night) it was an awesome price. The gentlemen (manager?) at the front desk was incredibly helpful (surpassed my expectations) and the train station was literally less than a minute up the same road. Awesome if you want to see Monte Carlo, Nice, Cannes, Antibes but don’t want to pay for the expensive accomodation there. Highly recommend!

Good location near the train station, excellent for day trips into Monaco, Nice or San Remo.

The owner of the hotel was so nice and the food was good, but we got pretty seriously scammed. We had paid for a Quadruple 2 bedroom suite with a washing machine and had made an hour drive out of our way (and an hour back) just to be able to wash our clothes. It was not a two bedroom, but about 10'x10' with two twin beds side by side. Everyone was gone by the time, but I had been driving 15 hours and had no fight in me anyway. I was exhausted and cried a lot through that night because I had no clean clothes, would get no sleep (we had two separate rooms because there is a snorer in our midst ;-) and I didn't even get to enjoy the French Riviera because the owner told us there would be no open restaurants or the like at 8pm. We had been having a very hard time being seated in France, so I considered it possible. I hate to have to out the guy, because the owner was really nice, but we got screwed.

Communal areas could be improved greatly appearing dirty, neglected and dated but overall rooms were clean apart from paint peeling walls with damp.

Very basic hotel for the money you pay to sleep one night

Returned for the second time in quick succession due to the low prices of the Hostel, the excellent location and the friendliness of all the staff that worked on the premises throughout our stay. The only negative was the weak WiFi connection, though we didn't exactly come to the south of France to sit indoors on the internet all day! The Hostel is situated roughly ten seconds away from the train station and all other amenities and the beach are within easy reach. Totally recommend this hostel if you happen to travel with friends or are wanting a romantic getaway without a huge pricetag. Big thumbs up and thank you Hotel restaurant de Belgique.

We just needed to sleep here till a morning train. It was cheap. We got what we expected.
It is a 2 minute walk to the train station. Bed was ok, kind of hard. Handheld shower head and teeny shower.
Had wifi

You get what you pay for. It is a bit hard to find as the entry door of the hotel is so tiny and it was very hard to find parking around the hotel. Some staff spoke English and was polite and helpful. Some don't speak at all. Be sure to arrive during the check in hours (earlier if you can).
It is located conveniently, but there is a train station close by so if you are sensitive to noise, this place may not work for you.

Hotel was average but there were no problems. Cheap hotel near the train station & therefore train tracks! Slight noise during the night but was cheap enough so no complaints

Nice basic hotel, close to Monaco, next to train station. Worth the money.
