It was great, was treated great at check in. Very good location to downtown, was the perfect stay
1.0
The check in process was smooth, I have nothing bad to say about service as I had nearly no interaction with the staff.
-The room I had , 103, greeted me with a chunk of the entrance door missing like the DEA kicked it in.
The room presented well however, every single thing I used had something wrong with it.
-The sink was difficult to use making it blast like a pressure washer or off.. the lights attached to the bed were loose or coming off so it would fall and hit the pillows.
-The pillows were basically fluffy pieces of paper, I put two on top of each other and when I put my head down on them the sides literally wrapped around my head
-I went to take a shower, the plunger for the tub was down which I thought was odd, lifted it up to drain when I noticed and it just never drained during the duration of the shower…. It wasn’t until the morning that it emptied.
-At 1 am and 2 am people in the halls were screaming and laughing as though they were still at the bar for over 20 minutes and the staff did NOTHING. It’s not a big hotel so every single person staying there and the staff heard it.
Extremely over priced for the garbage quality of every aspect of our room. I’m thoroughly dissatisfied.

Really poor condition and run down. No breakfast in the morning, pool/hot tub out of order, dirty hallways, only one ice machine in operation, mold in bathroom. Great location but the entire hotel needs an overhaul.

We were right across the street from the Lacrosse Center, where we saw a show.
We packed our swimsuits specifically for our romantic getaway to celebrate our 15 year anniversary with a dip in the pool and relax in the hot tub. After arriving, we noticed that there was no water in both the pool and the hot tub.

Pool was out of service, no breakfast and the room had coffee but no coffee cups, lobby was clean but as soon as you walk around the corner the elevator lobby was dirty and no cups for water either. Awful experience! Never again!

Nice room, great staff at check in and whoever cleaned the room was great.
Shower did not work, had to take a bath. Normally I have coffee in the lobby in virtually all other hotels but this one does not, nor is breakfast offered.

Pool and hot tub were out of order

Unfortunately there was a leaking ceiling throughout the hallway. It appears this hotel needs overall maintenance
2.0
Water was coming out of the ceiling all down the hallway. There as a short shower earlier in the day, but nothing that would create such a problem. All that was done is they placed garbage bins under some of the leaks. Also, your advertising states a bar on site, it was never open over our 2 night stay.

Staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. This used to be a Holiday Inn and Ive stayed here consistently for the last few years. There is clearly a quality issue now. Toilet and tub had stains, bathroom tile loose and pulling up, tub faucet loose and had to tighten by hand. Cut my foot on broken tile. Lots of room noise. Sounds like a shower running in the next room all night. The price paid for one night does not match the quality expected. I will find a different hotel next year.

Had a few issues buy otherwise nice place

Check in quickly. Room very clean. No noise even though it was Friday night. Waling distance to river side pak, shopping, the lacrosse center and pearls ice cream. Beds were comfortable we like firm mattress. A few cosmetic fix ups and they would be perfect! It. Is an old holiday inn. I did not see a sign for Taron b just holiday inn. All in all a great stay.

Convenience needs an upgrade. Smelled like sewage

We were treated differently because we booked through Expedia. The parking is only free from 6pm Friday night to 6 am Sunday morning. We arrived about 3:30 pm on Friday and were told the parking would cost about $8 and that he would have given us credit, but we booked through Expedia so he wouldn’t. When Sunday came, everyone else had check-out slips outside their doors except for us. When we checked out, we asked about it and she looked through a pile of slips and found ours then said in a rude tone, oh, you booked through Expedia. We’ll email you a slip. The hot tub was very dirty. No one came to tidy up the room on Saturday, Friday night was incredibly noisy with guests partying outside the hotel entrance and revving their motorcycles at 1:30 in the morning. The room itself was clean and comfortable, but we had booked a non-smoking room and when we walked in it wreaked of smoke. We will not stay there again.

Hotel was dirty they put multiple charges on my credit card ultimately they removed them but wasn’t something I wanted to spend a half hour at front desk for. Staff told me to park in parking garage and I got a $20 ticket. Hotel is terrible, great location but not worth it.

No complaints other than no hot water in the shower. Dual shower heads but they were so clogged only a few streams of water came out and could never get hot water

My Maps app couldn’t call up TaronB to get me there. Had to Google TaronB, find address & put it in the app. Turns out it’s a Holiday Inn with a few cosmetic upgrades in the lobby. There is a skyway from parking to the 2nd floor but then it’s a stairway down to the lobby to lug your bags down. After 1st night, no housekeeping, so towels were not refreshed. Never any hand towels. Dove brand hand soap, lotion, shampoo & conditioner. Cracked tile on bathroom floor. Key card stopped working after first night. Overpriced at $200 a night. Name and web presence indicate boutique vibe. This place would need to be shut down and gutted to fit what it’s pretending to be. Bar was never opened over the weekend. Light staffed. Good location only real upside.

The room was spacious but we found out the walls must either be really thin or have very little insulation. We could hear the entire conversation of the two people next door at 2:30 in the morning. In the morning we had no hot water for showers. When we called down the front desk didn’t apologize and didn’t seem sure what was happening. Said they thought a couple hot water heaters went out and to maybe wait a few minutes. It was a nice room with a nice view, but we didn’t have a restful sleep or hot showers. We booked the room for our anniversary and were somewhat disappointed due to how much we paid for the room.

Shower was good and hot on Saturday afternoon, but Sunday morning was a very different story as the hot water was waning by 9am and almost nonexistent at 10am.

Very disappointed,I paid 200 dollars for one night. One of our televisions in our room doesn’t work,we did not mention that to anyone we didn’t feel like the headache of moving to a different room. The hotel bar and restaurant were not open at all the whole time we’re here. And then the next morning when I went to get coffee, the only option available for creamer were five packets of hazelnut which I will not use. I want to go look for somebody to find out if there was any other options, and I realize the person working the front desk was sitting in the back room watching security cameras and watching me try to find somebody and she never came out.

We needed to check in late and called ahead. The front desk was helpful in allowing us to arrive after midnight despite it not being standard practice.

We were in town for just one night and wish we could have stayed longer. Had a beautiful room and will definitely book there again!

The hotel had a funny odor to it. Room was ok but not the cleanest. Lots of little things that needed to be fixed throughout the property. It needs a good overhaul and it would be great.

Great location but that's about it. Our toilet seat had mold all over it. Our room had a lot of moisture in it so our bed felt damp. Our floor smelt terrible. We had 4 people on our reservation but only 3 towels on our room. Aged property. If the place gets a facelift, it'll be a great place to stay!

Great night sleep, also you have food options walking distance.

The location can’t be beat. Steps away from the river, historic district of LaCrosse, great bars and restraints, the convention center and shopping. The room was adequate with a comfortable bed. Needs better cleaning and fixing the shower.

They are in the process of transitioning from a Holiday Inn to an independent hotel. They have a lot of work to do, but they have a freat location to work with.

Excellent location, convenient for walking, sightseeing, shopping, eating and drinking. The hotel was nice but there were a few maintenance issues that could have been better.

The hotel was lovely and quiet. The pool was fantastic and open 24 hours. And it is right across the street from amazing ice-cream at the Pearl.
