I loved A16. It is an ideal spot to start a trip to Tokyo.
It was very easy to get to, coming from Narita Airport and there are LOTS of good, cheap dining options within a very short walk.
While not necessarily the closest place to tourist spots, it is very close to Asakusa-bashi train station, making it very easy to get around Tokyo.
The surrounding area is foot traffic friendly and there's plenty to see, (the entire suburb is sprinkled with bead/ jewellery making supply shops which was a delight, and food shops galore) plus it's a short walk and even shorter train trip to Akihabara station which is an eclectic shock to the senses. (I highly recommend following the overhead railway on foot to Akihabara Station to get a look around the area.
The staff were incredibly helpful and fun to talk to and there is a fun social vibe to the hostel. Definitely a good place to meet people.
There's a kettle, microwave and fridge for tea and coffee/ heating up food too, and a list of recommendations for places to eat in the area stuck to the fridge.
I found the doom room pleasant though some complained about noisy neighbours. I think it comes down to whether you get someone next to you leaving at 6am and rustling their luggage etc. but that's the nature of hostels. They do provide ear plugs in the lobby.
I would definitely stay here again.
