We had a great stay in a house that has plenty of space. More run down than the photos show and the location is up a winding narrow road above town. We had ants in the kitchen that may have had to do with the summer heat but the email contact never replied. We put out traps and lived with the annoyance. Pool is a great bit of fun and makes for a nice outdoor experience. Deck and pool are in really good shape.

This was a lovely property! So quaint and adorable yet so much room for the six of us to have our own space. We'll be back for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay in this little town with lots of character. The house was very lovely to stay in, plenty of space, decently comfortable beds, GREAT pool, easy communication with the landlord. Would definitely stay here again!

This house was so fun, and in a beautiful location. We had a great time and the house had everything we needed for entertaining and relaxing. The only issue was the power went out on the last night. The power being off was not the issue, it was that there were no candles or flashlights and the property manager didn’t get back to me when I asked about it. The power came on a few hours later, but the lack of response was not ideal.

This house is such a great retreat for our friends every year. Plenty of space, and an ideal place to relax by the pool and BBQ on a warm weekend in Russian River.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves during our stay here at the Highland Manor! The place was comfortable and nicely furnished. The pool was fine, although shallow. A beautiful setting with many places to lounge and relax, plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen was well equipped.
Definitely recommend it and we hope to stay here again! Thank you Caner and family!

The house had some nice features such as a large stove that may be top of the line but other things need repair such as kitchen cabinets that don't close. Some bathrooms are very nice, others not so much

My extended family had a great time staying at this place. It has everything that you needed to have a very pleasant stay. There are a couple of things that might need to be updated soon, but nothing that would prevent us from staying there again. The house had toys and games for all ages, along with floaties be for the pool.

We have stayed in this home three times so far and always love to return for a fun weekend with friends.

We stayed at this house for a cousins reunion and so were just hanging out around the pool lots, with a few trips around the area. Great location, and the house was fabulous. We cooked a few big meals and had everything we needed. The house was clean, well appointed, with generously sized rooms and all the kitchen equipment needed for people who cook a lot. Thanks so much to Caner for great communication. We'd absolutely stay there again.

Overall its a very good place for 6 or 8 people to hang out. The heated pool is quite important if its not July or August, and even in those months its critical some of the time I suspect. The deck desperately needs refinishing or rebuilding and the pool edge is starting to rust but it is all still servicable if you walk carefully. No problems with neighbors, kitchen was great to cook in, stairs creak but noise is largely fine since there are three distinct sections of the house: bedrooms in house proper, bedrooms in the additional family room which feels very separate if you clise the door, and then the back unit. House did have a musty, smoke-like smell which cleared out with open windows. Great stay.

This was our second year in this house. The dining room fits our group really well. Good seating in the living room. Back yard was used a lot! As with any vacation rental it’s hard to keep all the dishes and knives and pans in tip top shape but we managed well and had a wonderful time.

Great house for a large family. We enjoyed our stay very much. However, beware of the checkout process. The owner will charge you an additional $50 or $100 (charges vary) if you miss something. Also, be prepared for a handyman and/or pool technician to unexpectedly show up.

The house was large enough to accommodate a group of 10 friends for a birthday and we had a great time. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the neighborhood was beautiful and secluded. It was a great weekend!

The property was very calming. It has a lot of great character and was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Great for 5 adults or couples. Dog friendly.
We'd love to come back during the summer to enjoy the pool and walking to the river.
Some reviews complain about the walk to town, but we found it easy and enjoyable.

We were there for three nights over New Years. There were three generations. It rained all except one day. Everyone appreciated the Armstrong Redwoods State Park on the sunny day. Everyone got involved with jigsaw puzzles. The pool table was enjoyed by all generations. Although we ate out for two dinners and didn’t use the kitchen too much, we were impressed with the completeness of the kitchen. Labeling of all cabinets was very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at this house with our family. The living room and dining room were perfect for us to all hang out together. The kitchen has plenty of cookware and serving dishes to make food for everyone. The back deck and surrounding trees were a very lovely view. We loved the small walk over to the Memorial Park rather than try and walk all the way into town.
