We thought we were safe at this resort, seeing how it was mostly (way passed) Senior Citizen age groups, but there was a crazy drunk guy that climbed 2 stories up the balcony, kicked in the huge sliding glass door to an elderly couples room, and scared the daylights out of them and us, along with two 15-year old girls, when he proceeded to break into their room and try to hide from security. I don't think the hotel ever called police and tried to cover up the entire situation.

Front desk person did not advise us correctly as to meals booked. Strange decor, esthetic. Clean enough I guess. Dining area was packed. Almost all elderly people here which is fine but we came with a family and young kids. Concern for cleanliness in buffet style eating with so many people. Staff in dining was kind and helpful though when the front desk person advised us incorrectly.

Basically this hotel cares for mass tourists, but not the quality. Food avarage and bit less in quality. Pool is dirty and water has leaves, hair everything.... could have clean them easily.
Place is indeed convenient.

Managed to pay a bit to upgrade the room to the main hotel block the room we were given was dark and dingy in need of upgrading the door didn’t work it was also right by the kids club and pool bar area so we couldn’t sit on the terrace without being watched. Staff were helpful although in the dining room we bought drinks to keep our table when taking my daughter to the buffet only to find they’d been cleared when we returned to the table! Lovely area and beach.

We paid for an upgraded bedroom and so glad we did. Fixtures dated, rusted radiator, black walls around air conditioner and shower in bath. Reception responded quickly to bedroom door locking and air conditioning leaking, we suspect this happens regularly as they knew immediately how to fix these.
We were not aware at the time of booking that there is a two tier all inclusive system in place for guests and did not feel the additional 16 euro per day per person was value as alcohol does not play a large part of our holiday and would prefer to also spend our money outside of the resort for additional meal. We did not feel comfortable with this decisive system where friends are segregated and treated differently. I did wonder if it was this additional style that enabled the hotel to be graded 4* . This is the first hotel that I have visited when pool towels have not been provided as standard and there is no omelette station at breakfasts. The kitchen and waiting staff are polite and try their best however the range, amount and type of food was limited.
We did agree with the hotel’s sustainability policy in reusable cups as at previous holidays there’s such waste with cups lying around the pool area. The snack bar was excellent and again its opening times and where it was positioned reduced the likelihood of waste around the pool area. Entertainment team worked hard and we enjoyed the usual games, music and acts. Overall we would not return for the reasons stated above.

Booked last minute and got the last room on site. Deal could have being better knowing that there was no chance we would get a sun bed or fit in with the crowded hotel. Nice staff who work very hard maintaining and serving the hotel. Also it’s very important the entertainment can be heard. I’m sure a lot of people struggle with languages without having a muffled microphone. Fabulous positioning with beach.

Be prepared not to have an access to the internet except hotel lobby. Be prepared to pay $40 for the key to the safe in your room. Absurd!. Be prepared not to have a beach towels. Vety helpful personal. Kind and patient. But the property is not a four star by any streach of imagination. The food was not good at all. Hudge variety, but not tasty

Overall good hotel with mostly great staff who work hard. First room was like a shoebox so got moved the next day (had paid for superior), room was nice but no air con (it does say this on their website) or fan made it extremely difficult to sleep, also our room had a lovely view but was above the loading bay/bins so was a lot of noise every morning. You can also hear everything in the hotel in the corridors and people aren’t quiet so it wasn’t great for sleep. All inclusive food was fine for a buffet and presented well, was plenty of it. Personally I really didn’t like the white wine (and don’t drink red or rose). Pool had plenty of chairs but due to time of year and lower sun often it was hard to get one in the sun so we gave up and went to the beach.

This is a nice hotel, right on the beach front. The views are lovely with mountains to the rear of the hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and was cleaned everyday. The communal areas including the pool were nice and well kept. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was well presented and plentiful with good variety. The only downside was the lifts which were small and didnt feel safe.

This was a great place for us to stay. It's not a 5* place, but it's great for the price we paid. The food is fine, enough selection for everyone to find something they like each meal. The Kids' Club was excellent (especially Sandra!), the evening entertainment was fun. We went at the end of Oct and had hoped to get to use the pools but they were way too cold. The beach was great. Rooms were clean and spacious. It's only 10-mins from Malaga Airport, 20 mins on the train from Malaga City Centre, and directly across from the beach. We'll be back!

Our original plans fell through and we had to book a hotel last minute. Puente Real was by far the most affordable option. We chose half pension so that we could still eat outside of the hotel and explore the area. The hotel itself has some updated and outdated areas, but overall it looked okay. It was very, very clean with friendly, helpful staff. There is no free wifi in the rooms, but we didn't miss it. The only downside for us was that the air conditioning was not working. They informed us that it is only turned on from June onwards. This led to some very warm nights, especially for our 15 month old. It would have nice to have the option. The location was okay, at the edge of Torremolinos. If you don't mind walking, you can get to the center in about half an hour. But there were also buses and taxis readily available. The food was overall not so bad. The Tex Mex and Spanish nights were better than the rest. Breakfast was the same every morning, would have been nice to have a little variety. But we only stayed 5 days so we didn't really mind. Our 15 month old really appreciated the kiddie pool and Mini Disco. The animation team was very lively and did a great job. Honestly, I didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised.

Excellent visit to malaga. Absolutely gorgeous beach that goes on for miles with lots of sunbeds, only 5 euros all day. You can get a 2 litre bottle water for one euro from the kiosks dotted around.
The hotel was great.... View of the beach. Excellent food choices that changed each meal. Not a lot of vegan or vegetarian substitutes ie soy saysages etc but lots of vegetables dishes like ratatouille, stitfry etc so noone would go hungry. Free water at dinner too so that was a bonus.
Great tennis courts for 5 euro deposit and a small gym. If you go all inclusive the food abd drink choices throughout the day are fantastic. We were just half board.
Only a ten min taxi ride to airport that cost just under 20 euros.
