Definitely not your typical branded box chain with the same look everywhere you go. Well-maintained boutique property that has motel bones but updated rooms that are very clean, comfy, and modern. Overall a great place to rest your head after work!

Best Place! I have been coming to Palo Alto for years now on business to Stanford and this is one of my favorite places to stay! Extremely clean, quiet, safe, edgy sense of mid century modern room design, nicely landscaped grounds with exotic plants (I loved the cute pelican fountain at the check-in window - that's a newbie for me).
No road noise could be heard in my room in the back building except for birds chirping in the early morning hours which is a huge bonus for those business travelers who know of this hidden gem. Other hotels nearby are entirely right on El Camino and no amount of white noise/noise cancelling devises, ear buds, and insulation will solve the issue.
This motel and the family who runs are both amazing! Like the saying goes, don't judge a book by it's cover!

My room was small but extremely clean and well-organized, including a USB port hub on the bedstand. The entrance is on a busy street but the property itself is hidden and quiet. The hotel is run by a very nice and personable family. A good value, especially for Palo Alto. I would stay there again.

The inside of the room is clean. However no clean up of trash for people who stays many days.

My room was clean, bright and even though not very spacious it was still very comfortable. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind. I liked how through the speaker on the phone they sent a reminder to check out instead of coming to knock on the door. That feature was the best I’ve seen on any hotel as far as check out routines go. If your just passing through town and need a place to sleep comfortably then this is the spot. Very conveniently located too. HThank you Berbeda!
