Me encantó

Location and host are amazing !!! 😊
The neighbourhood is very nice at day time ,but during late hours ,it becomes at times too loud ,due to the surrounding restaurants.
The carpet in the apartment is I would dare to say "not very clean" bordering with "filthy".

Bruno"s place is perfect if you need to stay in Alcochete. It is located in the centre, a lot of restaurants nearby and the seaside is just behind the corner. The house had everything we needed for us and our 10 months little one. We will use it again when back in alcochete.

This is a house with four appartments in the village of Alcochete. Our appartment was not too big, but it had a kitchen which doubled as a living room, a bathroom and a bedroom. The appartment was well equipped, there was cooking stuff etc. The owner left us two bottles of wine, which was a nice gesture, especially that the wine was really good. The bed was comfortable. The appartment was on a quiet street, some restaurant noise but we were during the workweek and it was quiet around 22-23. Contact with the owner was very good. He responded well on Whatsapp and text, whether before or during the stay when we texted him around 23.30 about internet issues. There is a washing machine and a place to hang wet clothes outside of the window. Parking is free in Alcochete and we got detailed instructions where to find spots. The appartment is maybe 50m from the river which is nice, although for swimming you need to go a bit further. There are solid restaurants very close.
The appartment was not cleaned as properly as it could have been. There were bread crumbs in the dishes and a bit in the kitchen, the coffee machine was kinda dirty as well. The hairdryer also was not very clean. The bed and other things were ok. The microwave worked funny, was beeping, we had to pull the plug - the owner said he will replace it. There is a fried fish smell from the restaurant which is 20m away, we did not feel it, is stronger in other rooms. The wall to the other appartment is kinda thin and one evening we heard the people talking pretty late. There was too little toilet paper, we had our own, the owner said he will address it with his cleaning people. While parking can be found, you will have to park on the street and walk a few hundred meters. Also late in the evening you will need to walk a bit longer.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. The kitchen equipment was up to date and both the bed and the sofa bed were comfortable. The owner was friendly and welcoming.
The apartment was close to many restaurants that were grilling sardines from lunchtime until 10 at night which meant that we couldn't have the windows open for the smell and smoke (it even came in through the vents) and it was very noisy even after they closed with the clearing up and moving tables and chairs.
Kitchen preparation space was tight (although if you always go out to eat it wouldn't be a problem).
