About this house rental
Wake up and step out onto the balcony to watch the sunrise over the water. Walk 25 steps to the lake and go for a quick swim or listen to the waves crash on the shore. Grill up some food before heading out for an afternoon kayak or fishing trip. Relax in the Adirondack chairs on the porch while taking in the gorgeous sunsets over the island. Soak in the hot tub under the stars on the wrap around deck. All this and more from this newly constructed two story home across the road from Oneida Lake.
The Main Floor: This newly constructed two story home has an open concept floor plan that boasts a spacious kitchen with an extra-large center island including seating for 5 guests. Adjacent to the kitchen is an inviting dining area with seating for 6 guests. In the living room there is a large couch and 4 swivel rocking recliners with a 65" flat screen TV, cozy electric fireplace, and many large windows that look out at the lake.
The Second Floor: Upstairs is a charming sitting room outfitted with a 65" flat screen TV complete with PS4 and Nintendo Switch for guests to enjoy. Tucked away in the closet of the sitting room is a mini bar area complete with fridge, coffee maker and microwave along with a selection of coffee, tea and hot cocoa. Access to the balcony is via the door in the sitting room. There is a master bedroom with a king size bed, a cozy electric fireplace, a small sitting area, a 55" flat screen TV and large windows for viewing the lake from the comfort of the bed. There is a dedicated work space tucked in the corner of the master bedroom that is overlooking the lake. Attached to the master bedroom is a large on suite bathroom with a double vanity, glass shower, and an oversize walk-in closet. The second bedroom has plenty of room for additional guests to sleep. There is a set of twin-over-full bunk beds and a futon for hanging out or converting into additional sleeping space. Under the bunkbed is a twin-size trundle bed. There is a 45" flat screen TV in this bedroom for guests to enjoy. There is a small, full-size guest bathroom with a laundry room that is equipped with a full size washer and dryer. Detergent and dryer sheets are provided to guests of our home. In total there are enough beds to accommodate 6 guests.
No need to bring linens, all the beds come fully dressed with fresh clean bedding. There are plenty of towels in each bathroom. Basic toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided for your convenience.
The Outdoor Space: there is a large wrap around deck with a 6-person hot tub, a dining patio set with 6 chairs and a BBQ grill and a black stone griddle top for outdoor cooking. There is also a covered porch along the front of the house with Adirondack chairs on the main floor. The second story balcony has 4 wicker chairs and a double person swing. There is a sizeable yard for kids to play, including a small selection of yard games that are provided.
Please note: the hot tub is seasonal, meaning that it will not be available during the cold NY months of Dec - March. Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult while using the hot tub. When children use the hot tub It is recommended that the temperature be turned down.
The Lake: guests can access the lake via the shared right of way across the road. Water shoes are recommended due to the rocky nature of the lake bottom in this area. Children must be supervised near the water and should wear life jackets (please bring your own life jackets). You are responsible for your guest’s safety during your stay. Guests with snowmobiles or ATVs may ride in and ride out to the lake using the right of way across the road. You are responsible for making sure the lake is thoroughly frozen and approved for vehicle use before attempting to drive on the lake.
Parking for Vehicles and Towables: There is parking on site on the back side of the house via a gravel pad and it will fit 4 cars. There is lots of additional parking in the back gravel lot if guests plan to bring watercraft, golf carts, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, etc. Street parking is not allowed in this neighborhood due to the narrow roadways by the lake.
Guest access: You will have full access to the home and our property. Access to the home will be via the back door next to the driveway. Guests will be provided with an access code to check themselves into the home 24 hours before arrival. Additionally, there is a manual lock box with a set of keys in case the smart lock fails. Please respect our neighbors as they are full time residents. Also, please stay to our property only.

It is recommended that guests bring sunscreen, bug spray and water shoes. 1 GB Wi-Fi is included with the rental and the password will be provided in the welcome package upon check in. A selection of board games and video games are available for guests to enjoy. Free parking on the premises for 4 vehicles. Accessibility: 6 stairs to enter the back door near gravel driveway, 8 stairs from deck to yard, 12 stairs to get to second story. Exterior security light with camera facing driveway and side deck facing yard and hot tub. Families with young children should be aware of all the stairs both inside and outside the home. Safety gates are not provided. The hot tub is not gated so families must provide adult supervision when children are in the vicinity of the hot tub. The hot tub is seasonal, meaning that it is unavailable Nov - March due to the cold NY winters on the lake. You will be required to sign a general release of liability for you and your guests to be allowed to use the hot tub. It will be sent to you via email within a few days prior to your arrival.
