About this house rental
Nestled in Beaver Creek, on prestigious Elk Track Court (former President of the United States resided here) Make your mountain-style-family-vacation dreams come alive affordably at this oversized, well appointed property! This spacious, unattached, 3-level ski house offers a unique ski-in/ski-out experience, one of a kind views AND boasts 4 full bedrooms complete with attached en-suite bathrooms plus and additional open loft/bunkroom on the third level that can sleep 4-6 singles complete with an attched half bathroom (think all the children). The lower level offers an equipped gym/flex room that can easily be used as a 5th bedroom, if desired, and is complete with closets and attached full bathroom and lower deck access. Easily sleeps 14 guests without the use of couches! The property boasts comfortable/ casual decor, spacious bedrooms, ample bed linens and towels, as well as special amenities like 2 steam showers (one in each Master suite) and an indoor 4-person hot tub to soothe those weary muscles while admiring spectacular views of Grouse mountain and many major ski runs right off the large wet bar! Yes, think apres ski from the privacy of your own hot tub while still watching other vacationers battle the slopes! Bar area for congregating after a day on the slopes has 4 bar stools and a bartenders stool behind the bar. Included are 2 sets of washers/dryers, whole house WiFi, and forced air heating and additional free-standing Dyson heaters to move about if needed. Open concept kitchen has newer appliances, a wine refrigerator and other conveniences such as a toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker and blender. Access to a printer is located at the desk in the loft if needed.
Guests will be delighted with the large wood burning fireplace (firewood will be stocked and provided) in the great room on those chilly winter nights while enjoying watching the snowflakes fall from the numerous skylights and windows located above the highly vaulted ceilings and throughout the home.
This ski home is equipped for both long or short stays to make your ski/board vacation / holiday or gathering one to remember. Plenty of driveway space to park up to 5 cars (snow dependant) is certainly a luxury in a resort community like this. Total livable area of home is 5900 sq ft. Located just below the Strawberry Park lift with spectacular views of Grouse mountain from one side and Centennial lift from the next.
**HIGHLIGHT** On Thursday evenings, and select Holidays, revel in the marvelous fireworks display you and guests can enjoy from the large deck, the great room windows or either of the primary bedrooms! Truly spectacular views from nearly every part of this unique home!
Easy access to the village just a short walk or complimentary free shuttle service also available. Popular hiking and snow shoe area also just steps away without the need to hop in your car. Ski out is easy for any intermediate skier as you do ski through some open trees to get to an intermediate section of the run. Ski in between the houses on Elk track, when done for the day or needing a break, and you can literally ski into the driveway (assuming the road has snow on it). For beginners or those with limited confidence, the shuttle service comes directly to the driveway and will drop you off at numerous main lifts including Centennial lift and is a compimentary service via the Village Connect app. (they will also pick you up and bring you back to the home as well).
The last photo of the ski area and lifts I placed is highlited for several reasons.
1 - The circle is referencing a focal point I use (there is a similar shaped round 2 story high concrete structure that is an easy way to know where to make a sharp skiers right turn) to exit run and access homeowners skiway to know where to enter into the ski access back to the home
2 - The highlighted route closest to it is the route you take (and you will almost be assured there will also be existing tracks to follow) to get back to the home
3 - the Highlighted route at end of cul de sac is the entry access point to take you to the ski run and it also will most likely have tracks to follow as well..
It is HIGHLY recommend to all who visit to go online and install the "Village Connect" app for Beavercreek. App will look like a bus that has initials BC on it, (to be sure you have the correct one). This gives you complimentary shuttle service to anywhere in Beaver Creek for skiing, ice skating, golf, hiking, mountain biking, festival/events, dining, shopping, etc.
Kitchen will be fully stocked with all needed utensils, appliances, spices, cutting boards, paper towels, etc. The SubZero refrigerator will have basic condiments included like ketchup, mustard, mayo, hot sauce, salad dressing and butter. A stocked coffee pod carousel with a variety of flavors is located next to the Keurig brewer and tea is also provided as an alternative.
Private driveway parking for 2-5 vehicles depending on snow removal area limitations and no daily surcharge or "resort" fees! Well maintained, easily accessible cul-de-sac location. Definitely an advantage compared to staying in a hotel.
With such an incredible location and access to the mountain and its famous ski runs, you and/or guests and kids can be tired, hungry, need to use the restroom or just take a short recharge and easily ski home early and then get right back on the slopes without having to disrupt the entire group... That's quite a plus!
