Very good food, but bad info that you have to book a table. The bartender was very good as well.
The room was nice, but the bathroom was a bit outdated and needed to be renovated.
Very nice gym.
The scenery is fantastic and a walk down to that small harbor is a must.

The hotel is in a great location, with a beautiful park to walk, have picnics etc... they keep a really nice open air gym and minigolf where one can play for free. The pool is wel maintained and quite big, even if it was a bit over crowded. You can also reach a small but really nice beach just walking down the hill, and it is worth to go there. Clean, nice shallow water and beautiful views. People working there are nice, and do their best. The biggest disappointment is the room, very old and dated with a really disappointing bathroom. You also get only two small towels, really not enough. Finally the breakfast is fine, but nothing special. Bread old and disappointing, other food acceptable but on the minimum and coffee not so good. I am writing this review during the corona pandemic of 2020, and while they assign different time to guests to do not overcrowd the place, they still have a buffet where everyone touches everything. They had hand disinfectant everywhere, but I observed that none used it and everyone was on top of each other with no social distancing at all. I know they are not responsible or the bad habits of all the guests (really none cared) but they did not enforce it either.

I was received in a very well wait. I had some problems to contact the reception after seven, even though we had a deal about that. But everything got in order, and the place is extraordinary beautiful and well kept. I was received in a very well way. Good value for money. Got a free upgrade upon arrival. Beds a little too soft for my taste, but otherwise the room was good. Breakfast ends early on week days (9 am), otherwise has a good selection. Great outdoor activities with outdoor gym and mini golf and a beatiful walk to Ålabodarna Hamn.

The castle and the location is absolutely top notch. For dinner we had duck and vegetarian, duck was excellent, vegeterian was ok. The outside swimming pool is not heated so it was too cold for us to use, while the hot tubs were great addition. The conference centre is a bit run down and in need of some paint job here and there etc (or at least the part we stayed in). Service is great. Enjoyed our stay all in all

We had one initial booking for one night. Booked an extra night and was told we could use same room. However in morning they forced us to change rooms. The spa area did not open until 15.09 so if you have other plans in evening you can not use it. Bathroom not properly cleaned and needs to be refurnished. Breakfast ok and main building beautiful . Not a place for a spaweekend.

Stayed 2 nights in 2 rooms at Örenäs Slott. Overall it was nice, though there are a few caveats.
Pros: beautiful lawn area with a kids play area, mini golf, and a giant lawn to run around on, overlooking the sea. If you have kids, it is great for them to have some space to run around! The rooms were clean. The breakfast in the castle was delicious, too.
Cons: The rooms are in a separate building, not actually in the slott/castle. There is a restaurant in the castle, and one down by the water (which is walkable), but both were filled and there is nothing else right nearby except for a simple pizzeria. If you want to eat on site, book the restaurant when you book the room. Also - there was a heat wave, the air conditioning in my room (in the top floor) was broken, and I had to make 3 separate trips to reception to complain about it. Eventually they put some kind of portable AC thing in there, but it didn’t work well. I ended up getting a partial refund for the room, but I spent a VERY hot and sweaty night there.
Overall, it is a fine hotel and beautiful location, if you need to be in the area.

A lovely manor house with a large surrounding garden. Great facilities though I was unable to use the pool for a morning swim because door was locked. The breakfast was exceptional and staff was friendly and helpful.

Beautiful and quiet surroundings making it a place well worth visiting. Beds were a bit narrow and breakfast could be a lot better. One could learn from hotels across the sound. Dinner was ok.

Spent two nights at Orenas Slott. Very relaxing stay. Hotel grounds are lovely. Breakfast was great! Would definitely stay here again!

Booked for family to stay, as I live in the general location. It was a lovely location, next to the beach. The interior is great, with luxury and high class furniture. For the price, it's great value!! Will definitely stay there also while family stay there in the future.

Modern annex to old castle like property. Beautiful park in rural setting with view of the ocean.

we had the expectation that we would be staying at a hotel in the higher segment quality wise. Upon arrival the first impression confirms this. Unfortunately, upon entering the ‘lobby’ the first doubts start to arise; the reception is more the heart of the conference center than the hotel. When entering the main accommodation block the feel is distinctly similar to that of bog standard motels and not the higher segment portrayed in the pictures. Added to this that the room felt 24-25 degrees with no fan or A/C so we needed to open the ground floor door and window as far as possible. This was complemented by the (wedding?) guests who decided that the pool was a good place to continue the party at 12.30. All-in-all a disappointing stay.

Two young ladies at the front desk were very nice. However, the old lady wasn’t. She did not gave a welcome greeting, never smiled, unkind, and was not helpful. A big downside of this kind of hotel.

Amazing location with fantastic view over Øresund. We had booked a superior room but were somewhat disappointed as we felt the room was a bit small on the 3rd level under the roof, with just one window that was quite high up so you could only see the sea when you stood up right in front of it.

This is mainly a conference hotel, but is also suitable for travellers between Malmö and Helsingborg. Excellent location, beautiful park with a view of Öresund and Isle of Ven. Interesting historical main building from the 19th century.
