Summary:
*Beautiful Luxury Lake House with views of the lake through the trees, sleeps 16!
*Just steps to private boat dock (ask about boat rental referrals)
*17 miles to Yosemite National Park
*Parking for 4 cars on driveway only
*No animals of any kind allowed
*No parties and no day visitors or guests beyond 16 (cameras on property)
The Space:
This Luxury Lake House is across the street from Bass Lake and features a private boat dock in walking distance from the home. The house has a spacious deck with loungers and a propane BBQ with views of the lake though the trees.
The high end kitchen is fully stocked and includes a wine fridge and nugget ice maker for optimal entertaining. The comfortable living room has a large smart TV, gas fireplace and board games for family fun.
Sleep comfortably in one of the six bedrooms, 5 of which have king size beds. The sixth bedroom is a bunk room with 6 bunkbeds.
The home includes a washer and dryer and free, fast and reliable WiFi.
Guest Access:
*Dock/Lake Access: there is a cute little beach area, where the dock is, it's private and only the dock owners and renters may use it. In the summer they put up umbrellas and have picnic tables. In winter it's just the picnic tables. It's right across the street and up a little way (300 ft.). Feel free to take chairs and umbrellas and hangout on the dock. It's the very last dock so you can jump off and play in the water.
If you want to go the other direction there's a beach area that has a small waterfall and a beach access as well, this is public access so a lot more people will be here.
*Please do not try to open locked doors or wonder onto the neighbors property.
* Early checkin and Late check out MUST be a arranged in advance and WILL COME WITH A CHARGE. The Housekeeping company pays their staff by the hour, whether they are cleaning or waiting for guests to leave. In general they charge a fee of $25 per hour to alter the check in or check out time. Ask about mid stay cleans for an extra fee.
*Day visitors are not allowed so every person on the property at any time must be on your reservation. Absolutely no parties!
We do not alter our cancellation policy for instances of rain, snow, smoke from fires, failure to get a National Park reservation or closures to the national park. Please purchase your travel insurance accordingly.
The Neighborhood:
Bass Lake is charming and has all the amenities needed, including a local market, several restaurants and quaint shops. Upon arrival at the home you will find a welcome binder with lots of information on the local area, including things to do, places to eat and nearby hikes.
Getting Around:
You will need a car to get around but take the time to walk around in the Pines Village area, you won't be disappointed! If you decided to go to Yosemite you can look into the YARTS bus to avoid tring to park you car in Yosemite.
Other Things to Note:
Please note: some roads from the East, such as Tioga Pass and Glacier Point are seasonal and are closed October through June.
Bring your boat or kayak to use in the provided boat slip. The slip is the last one on the dock and generally stays in the water at the end of the summer. Please note that water levels are not guaranteed and slip use is dependent on water level.
Park on the front driveway only please. The side driveway is shared with the house next door and you will block the entrance to their house if you park there. The garage is not part of the rental.
Chains and 4 wheel drive are strongly encouraged in the winter months and may be required if there is snow in the forecast.
Pack-n-play must be requested in advance.

Lost and Found: All lost and found items will be kept for up to 7 days. Shipping cost and staff time to mail it back will be charged to the guest. The minimum fees to ship an item start at $50 and goes up depending on shipping cost.
