About This Space
As you enter this welcoming home, you will find the kitchen to your left and a conveniently located powder room on your right. The main level flows into a spacious living room, complete with a cozy wood-burning fireplace. A loft overlooks this great room, offering a charming nook for reading or games, complete with various board games and puzzles for family fun or quiet moments.
Downstairs you will find the well-appointed primary suite, featuring a king bed and adjoining bathroom equipped with a soaking tub, standing shower, and toilet. The futon bed in the master can be pulled out to a full size and sleep 2. Next door is the bunk room which features a double and single bunk bed, comfortably accommodating up to 3 guests in this remarkable room. Across the hall is a full bathroom, with a tub/shower combo, toilet and washer/dryer for added convenience.
The Area
There is something for everyone at The Quechee Club. In the summer months members and renters can enjoy a number of outdoor activities. The Club offers two 18-hole golf courses, Lakeland & Highland, with stunning scenery and conditions. There are tennis courts spread throughout the community with professional tennis lessons and enjoyable competition. Renters can also enjoy the state of the art aquatic center- featuring an indoor & outdoor pool with an active kid's zone. Likewise, you can venture over to the beach at Lake Pinneo and rent a kayak or canoe. Then head over to The Club to enjoy a cocktail by the pool, a meal on Dewey's Deck or fine dining at Davidson's.
In the winter months, Ski Quechee is our featured amenity. Open Friday through Sunday and during MA school vacation week, take the family out for an exciting day on expertly groomed terrain. The mountain is modest and easily navigable for young and old, alike. You can enjoy our wonderful base lodge and après ski gatherings with activities for the whole family. The Club also maintains heated platform tennis with warming huts through the cold months to keep your paddle game sharp. The Club features a full winter recreational calendar including snowshoeing, x-country skiing (a groomed track is literally right out the back door), sledding, skating and much more! Killington is a short 35 min drive and Okemo is 45.
Outside of our seasonal offerings, there is so much more at Quechee. The Club offers a modern fitness center with daily fitness classes and top-notch equipment. Hiking trails are spread throughout the community woods. Quechee is home to a number of special events and wonderful dining experiences. Don't miss out.
