This house is located near the famous Nijo castle in Kyoto, and is a beautiful traditional Japanese machiya house with history, but well maintained with modern kitchens and bathrooms. It has a beautiful Japanese garden in the middle that gives you some peace and quiet in the bustling streets of Kyoto. There are 2 tatami bedrooms, 1 is equipped with 2 semi double beds, with some room for extra futons, and the other bedroom can also accommodate multiple futons. There is 1 bathroom equipped with an elegant hinoki bathtub, and the other one has a shower. There is a simple modern kitchen equipped with all the basic necessities like a fridge, microwave oven, IH stove, and kitchen utensils. All of this is wrapped in typically Japanese architecture, where warm woods and the smell of tatami floors make you feel at home.
