About this house rental

Little Moose Point is a waterfront property on Moose Pond with spectacular views of Pleasant Mountain. The 4 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom house sits on a private 1/2 acre peninsula with 470 feet of waterfront, a private sandy beach and 2 docks. Large windows provide year-round water and mountain views. The walls and ceiling are wrapped in knotty pine tongue and groove creating a cozy cabin vibe that transports you out of your busy city life and into the relaxing Maine woods.

The hot tub is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of hiking or skiing! The dock is the best place to stargaze, the milky way shoots straight up over Pleasant Mountain making for a spectacular spot to photograph. And the fire pit in the backyard is a great place to entertain friends and family too.

I must warn you that everyone that stays here sleeps much longer than they expect to, we blame it on the peace and quiet and the mountain air. It's incredibly easy to relax here and never want to leave.

LAKE ACCESS:
You're welcome to use the docks, kayaks, paddles, and life vests throughout the Spring, Summer & Fall. We have a pontoon boat that will be docked there but there is plenty of room for your boat as well as jet skis.

The Moose Pond boat launch is located on the causeway across from the end of our street (1/4 mile from our property). Your boat can be driven under the causeway and docked on our 20'L x 10'W private dock. The causeway underpass clearance is usually 8-10' high depending on the water level at certain times throughout Spring-Fall, hard top pontoon boats won't fit. Please let us know if you will be bringing a boat, jet skis, snowmobiles or a trailer of any sort so we can give you more details and answer any questions you have.

We generally keep to ourselves but are happy to interact and give you information about the area and all sorts of things to see and do.

PROPERTY MAINTENANCE:
We will maintain the property throughout your stay. We have the driveway plowed and the walkways shoveled in the Winter and we take care of all of the landscaping Spring-Fall. In the Winter we also have HeatTrak mats that help to melt the snow on the walkway from the driveway up to the front door.
