About this house rental
Accommodation
The house is located in an old block of the 18th century. It is inside the beautiful village of Barcenaciones (Cantabria) where you can still breathe the atmosphere of yesteryear. Friendly neighbors, people who talk, all in a quiet and friendly environment. Its interior is completely new with all modern conveniences. It has a very nice cassette fireplace and modern television. It has a washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee maker, etc.
Views of the mountains and a beautiful garden.
Heating throughout the house and spacious and bright rooms.
We can put a crib in the main room.
The environment
Small town that has won the prize of "most beautiful town of Cantabria 2012". Very well preserved and quiet, being a bag bottom there is no circulation and it is very safe for children. It has a picnic area with tables and many places for excursions and walks.
Barcenaciones is close to everything. At 35kms from Santander, next to Santillana del Mar and Cabezón de la Sal, San Vicente de la Barquera at 20 minutes, the wonderful Valley of Cabuérniga a stone's throw away. The A8 motorway passes only one km.

Activities and attractions
There are many things that can be done in the area, from horseback riding, quad biking, cycling and walking to unforgettable visits to villages lost in the mountains with great restaurants with incredible prices. Asturias and LLanes are very close as the important caves of Soplao, Altamira, El Castillo where you can find the oldest cave paintings in Europe, etc. For children, they have a children's playground that they do not usually go far from and the Cabarceno zoo is one of the best in the world. Near Santillana del Mar there is another very attractive zoo. If you prefer to get lost in the bush, the options are endless.
